1976 Porsche 912E---Very Very Good Daily Driver

I have owned this 912E since 2010 which as far as I know it is major rust free.  This is not your typical used 912E between what I have completed and it being all original except for RUF Design front valance---still has factory fuel injection and original factory AM/FM radio along with power windows.  

Vehicle comes with 4 factory steel wheels and baby moon Porsche crested hubcaps

Listed below are some improvements/comments---Including NEW and refurbished items--- which have been made to this very very nice driver 912E-----

Head temp sensor-new. bosch blue coil-new. complete tune up including wires. driver side mirror glass--flag type---which is also heated. driver door limiter. front windshield and seal. rear view mirror to accommodate new glass mount. driver door speaker. rebuilt alternator. replaced spare tire and wheel with same type factory original that is not dry-rotted. new headliner. quarter window seals. new two stage defroster rear glass from Stoddard and seal----glass alone was $500 and took professional installer and me 7 hours to install with all the wiring to route being a two stage defroster glass--each wiring hole was hand drilled. repair and paint one heat exchanger. rebuilt starter. ignition switch. engine compartment starter button. re-keyed entire car with original type factory keys with door and switch match plus valet keys along with updated Porsche lighted keys. engine timing scale. fuel pressure gauge in engine compartment. voltage regulator. fuel injection brain relay. cleaned under the two front fenders which are now almost as clean as when car left Germany. new original factory type trumpet horns. changed transmission gear oil to SWEPCO and transmission was thoroughly flushed. installed new RUF design front valance--original painted and comes with vehicle--battery is OPTIMA Blue--to best of my knowledge engine and transmission are the ones that came with the vehicle. new sun visors

Within seven days the following needs to happen after commit to purchase

Buyer needs to complete inspection of vehicle at Roanoke. VA

Buyer signs document accepting vehicle from seller as is where is with all faults with no warranty expressed or implied

Buyer pays cash or bank wire transfer to seller at a Wells Fargo Bank here in Roanoke. VA

After funds clear

Buyer and Seller go to VA DMV and transfer title out of sellers name with buyer paying all VA transfer fees and taxes 

Buyer provides seller with copy of new title showing vehicle no longer in sellers name

Seller will then release vehicle per buyers advice

There should be no surprises or disputes with the above process

Another possible process to transfer the title would be for me (seller) to come to buyer to transfer title in buyers home state after buyer commits to buy and after transfer of funds to me (seller)--Buyer would sign document accepting vehicle as is where is with all faults sight unseen with no warranty expressed or implied--I would of course provide pictures of any area of vehicle buyer request--vehicle would then be released upon my return to VA

Some exceptions to this vehicle are---small crack in center of dash. steering wheel needs recovering. otherwise interior is in very very good condition----small dent at top of passenger door otherwise body and paint are in very very good condition. passenger door speaker needs replacing. hood shocks need replacing--we can discuss why I have not replaced---cigarette lighter does not work-which I have used one---fan for ventilation does not work---fresh air only---but basically the vehicle is in great daily driver shape---impossible to list all imperfections here with a vehicle that is 40 years old with 154. 00 miles--but I think and hope upon viewing you will be satisfied with condition and price

The history as told to me by last registered owner---vehicle bought new in Northern. VA in 1976---owner moved to TX then to CA--kept vehicle for years then donated to a public radio or public TV station who turned over to auto auction and sold to dealer that I purchased from in 2010 and then I had shipped to VA--so basically a two owner vehicle
