In 1956 General Motors was the largest corporation in the world.   They had more money at their disposal than most any other corporation.   The top of GM's automotive line was of course Cadillac.   By 1956. well after WWII. they not only had the money and the resources but the time to come up with what was undoubtedly considered the finest American luxury car. the 1956 Cadillac.   There are many car collectors that feel that the 1956 Cadillac 2-door hardtop is one of the best designs ever produced by General Motors. their designers and the tech center.   Here at MissChiTown. a service for car collectors to market their collector cars on eBay. there would certainly be no argument from us.   This 1956 Cadillac is close to the largest Cadillac ever made.   The trunk is extremely large.   The interiors were plush. well built and a beautiful design.   The styling cues of the hooded headlights. Dagmire grille and the gold grille inserts make the 1956 Cadillac 2-door hardtop impressive and high impacting at any car show! 

The 1956 Cadillac Coupe de Ville here in this auction is believed to have only the 34. 86 miles as indicated on the odometer.   The seller has provided a picture of the service sticker showing the low miles in 1971. this has caused the owner to believe that indicates that the mileage is correct.   The owner was told by the third party twelve years ago that it had been a one family owned car.   The car appears to have been painted once in a beautiful color scheme of light blue with a darker shade of blue.    The car is also equipped with a spare tire and a jack.   All the power equipment is working and the car starts and runs as it should according to the owner.   The owner tells us that even the underside looks neat and tidy and he has not seen any rust.   The car comes with a car cover.  

If you are looking for one of the largest cars made in the 1950s with a big powerful Cadillac engine backed up by a famous General Motors 4-speed Hydro-Matic transmission that goes down the road and rolls out the bumps like they don't exist. You can travel and cruise all day long at 95 mph (until of course you get pulled over).   The car will certainly create crowds whenever it is stopped and parked.   These old Cadillacs are truly fabulous and this one appears to have been babied all its life and looks to be in very nice condition.   We know that Cadillacs like this are extremely popular not only in the United States but in countries such as Sweden.
