It is rare to find a nice "pull handle" mg nowadays . But to find one where the previous owner has had for some 25 years . and only 3 previous owners previous to that is a real good find. The last owner a garage owner . id some restoration work on an already nice restored car . We have nearly every mot from the mid 80s thru to today . howing in his ownership only some 28000 miles have been done . This was obviously those sunny days when it could come out . Though the restoration work was done between 10 and 20 years ago . t has really stood the test of time and is testament to a job well done . The engine is a correct three bearing re con unit . gain done many moons ago . Right upto a new rear bumper installed a few months ago . The combination of a pull handle . n correct painted wires . ith nice black trim . riginal steering wheel is sure to attract . nd we dont think in current climate will be around long . There is a shortage of nice early B's and prices have climbed 25 percent in the last year . We feel this represents excellent value for money .
Engine & Transmission
The engine is running superb and has been well maintained . It is a reconditioned original type 3 bearing engine . It has now beeen converted to 1 12 volt battery and an alternator rather than traditional dynamo. A new starter motor has been recently fitted .
Wheels. Tyres & Brakes
The original painted wires are in superb order and are shod with a full matching set of "Dunlops". Finished off with the two ear spinners . ery nice ! The brakes are very good and pull up nice and straight .
Exterior
The Carmine Red paintwork . eally has stood the time from restoration . There are no signs of rust to be found . The shine is superb and there is no degredation. The brightwork is excellent with the bumpers being fairly new . The hood is in very good order though it has faded since being replaced along time ago . It has the zip out rear screen and 1/4 windows . It fits superb and the frame is in 1st class order. All lenses . lass. rim etc are in very good order. Full tonneau cover comes with the car . Underneath the car is very good order and is fully wax oiled .
Interior & Equipment
The Black interior with red piping looks superb and is in very good order . The seats and door cards are excellent. The carpets are very good . All gagues seem to be working . The boot area is again very clean and rust free . It houses a 12 volt battery . Done when converted from the original 2 6 volts . It has been put into a made battery holder. There is a full original spare wire wheel and a jack.
