 This is my Personal Corniche Convertible. I have loved it since March of 2008. It saddens me to sell it. but there is a 1954 Buick Skylark in the garage. Can't keep them both. Purchase with the utmost of confidence. It is a Fantastic car!!!!!

Greetings to All !!! imotors is pleased to present yet another unique Rolls Royce for your motoring pleasure. As some of you know I am an avid car buff and Love to sell interesting automobiles on eBay.   Rolls Royce's are one of my passions(addictions???) and I enjoy sharing my enthusiasm.   This is a 1986 Corniche II DHC(Convertible). It is one of the most Special Rolls Royce's we have offered. and a wonderful opportunity to own a very desirable example that you will be Proud of. This one is quite Elegant. especially with the Exquisite Mason's Black coachwork and Rolls Royce Alloy Wheels. very unique. and absolutely Magnificent. I think it is quite striking!!! This Beautiful Rolls Royce has only traveled 61. 00 miles since new. which is less than 3. 00 miles per year. extra low miles for any pre-owned car.

In 1972 the Sliver Shadow Coupe(FHC). and Convertible(DHC) were re-named "Corniche". These special cars are called "Coachbuilt". and were created at H. J. Mulliner Park Ward. an entirely different factory than the Saloons. Some assembly was done at Crewe. but most of the work commenced at HJM/PW. Whilst all Rolls Royce's are built entirely by hand. the Corniche is quite special. and built in extremely limited quantities. I'm told it takes 6 weeks to create. and assemble the convertible top!!! Even the Facia is unique to the Corniche. One look. and you will know exactly what I mean. It is said to be "The world's 'Most Desired' open tourer!!!  I have owned this one for over 5 years. I consider it an extension of my personality!!!! It has been a wonderful car to own and drive. and has been basically trouble free!

Please keep in mind that this is a 27 year old Rolls Royce that is not "flawless" or "mint". If you want a "show car" or a "perfect" example. this is not the one. This is a WONDERFUL Corniche Convertible. that runs and drives beautifully. As mentioned above. I have owned it since 2008. and it has been a pleasure. The 6. 75 litre light alloy V8 runs great and the Automatic transmission still shifts ever so smoothly.   It stands tall and proud and will give years of pleasure to the lucky winning bidder. I will do the best that I can to describe it's actual condition. There are about 60 photos below. so you can take a tour of the entire car. from outside to inside. even the trunk and the engine compartments are shown. along with many of the wonderful features. please take the time to let all of the photographs load. we're sure that you will be just delighted. If you have any questions or need more info please don't hesitate to ask. As with all classic and collectible vehicles this Wonderful Rolls Royce is being Sold without warranty.

Upon my purchase in March of 2008. I decided to do a full cosmetic refreshening. Mechanically. it was excellent. and drove just like you would expect a well cared for Corniche to drive. but cosmetically. it had aged. I wanted a car that I could DRIVE. and not be afraid to park it anywhere. I had a local bodyshop do an overall paint job that was driver quality. It looks fantastic. but upon close inspection. there are some flaws. Nothing major. but not perfect either. There are some places where the paint is thin. and was brush touched. and some overspray here and there. Again. NOTHING MAJOR. but not a concours show car. I had the famous Madera Concepts in California redo every piece of wood in the car. including the picnic tables. and the wood along the convertible top. You will notice in the photos below that it is just spectacular!!! It looks much better in person!! All of the felt was replaced on the moldings around the windows. and the top. The entire trunk area was redone(even the Hardura UNDER the carpets. and in the storage box was replaced). as was the windshield frame. and Sun Visors. We installed a very high end sound system. with powerful amplifiers and speakers that are all hidden. It has Bluetooth audio. and telephone. along with a USB(I have my IPOD connected to). The carpets in the footwell areas are worn. As I just LOVE Mouton overlays. I decided to spend the money on a new set. and forget about the carpets underneath(Can't see them with the Moutons installed). Before my purchase. someone replaced the Everflex top. and headliner. It is in excellent condition. with a clear back window. The car runs and drives as you would expect. and is quite dependable!!! I've decided to offer it here on eBay Motors with a very fair reserve. Don't wait until the last minute. If it does not sell. it will go back in the garage to keep the Skylark company this winter!!!

****Please note. The BEST Rolls Royce's and Bentley's are the one's that have been DRIVEN!!! Please don't be put off by the mileage. This Gogreous Corniche has been very well serviced it's entire life. and is mechanically Excellent!!!  I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere!!! THIS IS THE ONE!!! If you ever wanted one of these Hand Made masterpieces. this is your Golden Opportunity. Bid NOW!!!! . Remember. when you try to snipe somebody ALWAYS gets shut out at the end. If you are that somebody. and we've ALL been that somebody at least once!. You will have that sick feeling in the pit of your stomach. Don't let this one get away.

The exterior colour is called Mason's Black. The paint is in Beautiful condition. As mentioned above it was resprayed 5 years ago.   It looks great. but upon close inspection. there are some flaws. It is bright and shiny. and makes a Lovely appearance. As you can see in the photos it is just magnificent. The Black Everflex convertible top(known as the "hood") appears to have been replaced. and is in very nice condition. The rear plastic window is nice and clear. The chrome and brightwork are just gorgeous and are in excellent condition. There are a few blemishes on the front bumper. The famous Rolls Royce Radiator Grille(which. by the way is also made entirely by hand) is just Breathtaking!!!  The Flying Lady" stands Tall and Proud. and is just beautiful.   Unlike most older Rolls Royce's this Corniche Convertible has no visible signs of any rust or weather damage. It was apparently garaged all of it's life.  

The interior is Tan Leather. piped Black. The carpets. are Deep Fawn. bound same. They are in fair condition. They are currently covered by those plush Mouton overlays. It has Triple X Sundym glass throughout. and a Beige headlining. The leather is in great condition. and is still mostly nice and soft. The rear seat would benefit with some "Lexol". or "Hide Food". but definitely not in need of replacement. As you will see in the photos below. it makes a very nice appearance.   The famous hand polished and finished veneers were recently refinished. and the patterns are just breathtaking.    There are DETAILED photos below.   As one would expect. The "Best Car in the World" is equipped with Split Level Climate Control that keeps the lavishly appointed interior cool in the summer. and toasty warm. when necessary. The window lifts and seats are electric and work just fine. The Pioneer AM-FM Stereo CD system is custom built for me. and sounds better than wonderful. The Cruise Control is present. however is inoperative. we have no estimate for repair.

We have the original build records(chassis card details) for this Fabulous Corniche Convertible. so you can follow it's assembly. from the original order to the first lucky owner!!! Can you imagine the thrill. taking delivery of a BRAND NEW Rolls Royce Corniche II Convertible!!!! They are quite interesting to read. and very fascinating. I'm sure that the lucky new owner will thoroughly enjoy them.
During my 5 year stewardship. I have only driven this wonderful motorcar about 3. 00 miles. As one would expect. it is a pleasure. Quite smooth and quiet. The Goodyear White Stripe radial tyres have about 50% tread left on them. and just add to the already fabulous and unique Rolls Royce feel. The A/C Compressor was renewed last year. We have recently replaced the two brake spheres. along with the rear gas springs. We have renewed both valve cover gaskets. and all 8 fuel injector seals. Both hydraulic pumps have just been re-sealed. and we installed 8 new NGK Sparking plugs. The oil and filter were changed(Castrol GTX 20/50 of course) and we performed a safety inspection. It is now ready for your excitement. There are a complete set of books and manuals. The large and small tools are present. As mentioned above the cruise control is inoperative. and we have no estimate for repair.

As with all classic and collectable cars. this wonderful Corniche is being sold without warranty. This Rolls Royce has a clean Pennsylvania title. that reads actual miles.
This is a very rare opportunity to own one of the finest driving cars available in the world. It is mechanically and cosmetically in wonderful condition and will give the lucky winning bidder many years of enjoyment.
