1962 Lotus Super Seven Replica, TR-42 HOT ROD! Ariel ATOM inspired! for sale

 It has a tuned up Porsche 914 motor

- 1. 7l case with 2. 0 crank

-103mm jugs and pistons

-2. 4 liters. fresh build ~2500 miles

-SCAT c35 cam

- Deep oil pan for extra cooling and capacity

-NEW dual Webber 44 IDF carbs

-MSD Ignition

-901 transaxle from 911/914

-axles and cv's are high strength EMPI units

The suspension hard parts are from a Pontiac Solstice or Saturn Sky

Shocks are Ohlin's

The frame was made around these parts by a fabricator and Porsche master mechanic in Kentucky.   His shop is called Speed Inc; he has made several chassis. For more information look to www. exocars. net in the for sale section and follow the links in my for sale ad. as this car is all over that site.   Yes you need to register to see the pictures.   Its free.   I also have a bunch of pics in my photobucket.   You will notice that I had a small incident in the car with a guard rail at an autocross.   The damage was minor and limited to the fiberglass and is all repaired now.  

The car corners like magic.   0-60 time is about 6 seconds.   Simple air-cooled reliability.

STREET LEGAL GO KART.   YES IT IS STREET LEGAL.   Check your local laws concerning registering (not titling. as the car is already titled and this sale will be a transfer of ownership) of antique/specialty/replica vehicles.   If you buy it and live in a place like 'the peoples republic of California' with their ridiculous registration process you will have a bit of an uphill battle.   It is the buyers responsibility to make sure the car can be registered in his or her state.  

Needs nothing ready to drive and show off! I just got back from vacation with the car. and it did about 800 miles up in the mountains with no trouble at all.   None. zip. zero issues.   This is a rare thing. a reliable kit car.

Buyer is responsible for shipping costs. however I am willing and able to deliver within a reasonable distance.   Reasonable to me is one tank of fuel in the truck there and back. about 400 miles round trip.   I am willing to deliver further. meet in the middle. etc for a small fee to cover fuel and lodging (if necessary).   

I have some misc. spares and special tools that are in the sale.
