1973 Ferrari Daytona Spyder Replica

Ferrari Daytona replica fiberglass body built on a 1973 Chevrolet Corvette chassis. It is powered by a Corvette 350 CID V8. complete Corvette running gear. and a three-speed Turbo 400 automatic transmission. It has independent suspension. four wheel disc brakes. and Corvette power steering.

It has been in dry heated storage since 1989. We machined all four brake rotors and put on rebuilt calipers and master cylinder. installed a new battery. flushed the fuel system. and changed the oil and filter. The car responded immediately. It drives very well. The air conditioner will need to be serviced. and the seat belts do not function. Because the car was sitting for so long. the tires thump while driving but appear to be improving the more it is driven.

The paint and body are as we purchased it. We did not do any body work. The upholstery appears to be original to the car. The soft top is functional with no rips or tears. and the canvas cover is included. The underside of the car appears to be in decent shape. Please see pictures.

Features: Daytona style alternating color pattern leather seats. Ferrari 365 GTS style dashboard and door panels. Stewart Warner gauges. three-spoke Nardi tilt steering wheel and Ferrari horn button. power windows. AM/FM radio with cassette tape player. Ferrari emblems and badges. and 15-inch wheels with Goodyear Eagle VR60 tires.

We believe this car may be one of approximately 100 built by McBurnie Coachcraft in California. but we are unable to verify that claim. We welcome any information that will help identify the origin of this car.
