'SELLING ON BEHALF OF A FRIEND'

1948 BENTLEY MARK VI SPECIAL SPORTS SALOON BODIED IN VINTAGE BLOWER BENTLEY STYLE BY TERRY LA ROCHE

The car originally started out in life as a Bentley Mark VI Saloon. For the first 10-15 years it changed owners a couple of times before being put into storage during the 1970's where it sat for a considerable amount of years. In 1995. all mechanical parts including engine. gearbox. axels etc were checked and the car was got back running. In 1996 it was then returned to the owners workshop with a view to constructing a body in readiness for a daughters wedding. In late summer of 96. Terry La Roche (ex Rolls Royce Coachbuilder and Panel Beater for 20 years) stated he would design and build the body based on the 1928/1929 racing Rolls Royce. Terry took the project on and constructed the body over the following 12 months. Since 1997 the car has only been used for classic car shows and special occasions.

The car is a one off. you wont find another one of these on the roads!

Currently the car has no number plate on it as due to the car being in storage for a long time DVLA sold the original number plate so the owner is in middle of re-registering the car and being issued with a brand new number plate.

The car has no mot or tax as only sits in storage but runs and drives very good.

Supercharger on front of car is for show purposes only and is not a fully working unit.

VIEWING IS RECOMMENDED TO APPRECIATE THE CRAFTSMENSHIP OF THIS CAR BUT PLEASE DONT EXPECT TO TAKE IT ON TEST DRIVE DOWN THE PUBLIC ROAD!!
