Looking to sell my baby. Have owned her since 03' and I'm in no hurry to let her go.  Have over $40k invested in her. My loss is your gain. Can't even buy the parts for what I'm looking at letting her go for. Almost everything listed below has less than 1. 00 miles on it and still looks new.   With the exception of the cylinder heads. intake manifold. transmission and tires. The cylinder heads and intake manifold were put on the car during the N/A motor build done at 78k miles.   The car itself has around 170. 00. but not the motor.  Had intentions on swapping the Fox Lake Heads for a set of Trick Flow Heads and either doing a transmission swap or building another 4R70W. But just to the point to where I want to move on. Has been in the shop for the past 2 years for the current motor build and upgrades. With the car being gone for so long and my life going in a different direction. it is making it easier to part ways with the her.  I have had my share of fun with the car.  Car shows. cruise-ins. cruises in general. etc.  Good memories.

I'm the second owner. Well. technically the 3rd owner.  The car was in my Dad's name for the first 10 years or so before he signed the title over to me.  Have a Clean Title in hand.  Has been meticulously cared for. waxed 3 to 4 times a year. very seldom saw rain and always garage kept.  If she did see rain while out and about. as soon I got home before I stepped foot into the house. I would wipe the car down.  I hate water spots.  With that being said. do not let the mileage on the odometer fool you.  Most of the miles are highway miles. Charlotte to Hickory. driving home to see my parents and my girlfriend at the time on weekends during college.   When it comes down to it. it would be hard pressed to find a 98' Model Mustang in the condition that this one is in regardless of the miles.

Now for everything that has been done to the car.  As you will be able to see. I did not spare any expenses when building the car. Used the best parts.

I'm sure I'm missing some things here and there.  But tried to hit the main items.  Be hard pressed to find a 98' with the amount of miles on the body in this great good of condition.  Do not get me wrong. the exterior has some chips from normal wear and tear. but for the most part. the car is in great shape.  Especially for a car that is almost 20 years old. Probably give the exterior a 8 out of 10. if not a 9.  The interior is in good shape.  Some of the vinyl is coming up or bubbling around the door handles.  The steering wheel is starting to crack at the top.  The rear seat has not been used probably 6 times.  Still looks brand new.  Probably give the interior a 7 out of 10.

As the car sits right now. it laid down exactly 500 HP on 15 LBS of Boost. I'm figuring with a new set of Trick Flow Cylinder Heads and a Transmission Swap. the car should easily make 575 to 600 HP.  Well. with the removal of the Stall convertor. which is eating a good portion of the power. nbsp;or through a new transmission.   And in a 98' 2-Valve. it would be the ultimate sleeper.  The current transmission is good. but it is laying over up top.  Can be seen on the Dyno sheet. not the track.  The car has NEVER seen a drag strip except from the parking lot.  So I could not tell you what the car runs because I have never ran it.  I built the car out of passion and built it the way I wanted it with the best parts money could buy in my opinion.  When clean. it's definitely a head turner.  That was what I wanted.  Just a nice. clean. fast car.

Just replaced the battery and starter in the car in the last week due to me not letting the car run every so often.   Got busy with everything else going on with a new job. etc.

THE BAD:

I'm not going to hide anything just to get rid of it.  The car may need a new set of head gaskets.  Drove it to the beach and back with no issue.  Ran and idled great.  Turned heads cruising the back streets and Ocean Blvd in 2nd gear.  Put roughly 850 miles on the motor to get it broke in before getting the final tune. But when the time came. the car blew the coolant hose on the Dyno.  Since it has been pushing coolant.  I replaced the coolant cap and the thermostat thinking it may be something simple.  But when I had it pressure tested. it was dropping pressure.  Therefore. I'm figuring it to be a head gasket.  Being the car has head studs. it requires the motor to be dropped just to check and replace the gaskets.  If you are a car guy and know people that can do this for cheap. my loss is your gain.  Just tired of dropping money in the car.

The car is also due an inspection.  Due to it being in the shop for what seemed like an eternity. it has not been inspected for the 2016 or 2017 year.

Tires are not bald. but during my last inspection in 2015 they were borderline.  Or so I was told. which didn't make no sense to me.   Felt like I could easily get another few thousand or so out of them. Figured I would let the new owner finish them off with a nice burnout and put what they want to run on the car.  I'm currently running Nitto NT05 tires all the way around.  315/35R17 in the rear and 245/45R17 in the front.

Feel free to message me with any questions you may have and I'll do my best to answer them.  Have more pictures from the build if interested.  I understand I will not get what I have in it out of it. but at the same time. I'm not just going to give it away.   I know there are a few things wrong like mentioned above that I did not have to come forward about.  I could have sold it as is. but I did not feel comfortable doing so.  I mean. the supercharger system. the block and rotating assembly. the exhaust. fuel system and brake system alone are worth more than what I'm asking for the car.

Asking $11. 00 OBO.

Thanks for looking.
