1956 Ford F-100 F100

Up for auction I have my all "original" 1956 Ford F100I guarantee you will not find a cleaner. more original example of a 1956 F100 anywhere!This truck still wears its original paint! It still has shine and depth to its original finish! This is the same actual paint that ford applied to this truck from its day of birth.  All of the trucks sheet metal is original. All of the trucks glass is original.  All of the trucks bed wood is original.  All of the trucks interior is original (minus the floor mat). The seat is original and in perfect condition.  The seat adjuster works perfect.  The gauges are original and work perfectly.  All the interior controls (lights. horn. heater. blower motor. cowl vent. door handles. window cranks. door locks. head light high and low beam switch and wipers work perfectly.  The Windows roll up and down perfectly.  The wing windows open and close perfectly.  The dash lights work perfectly.  The windshield wipers work perfectly (needs new blade inserts)The original steering wheel is in perfect condition as is the red horn button.  The original turn signal switch works perfectly.  The engine is original to the truck. runs strong. does not smoke or burn any oil.  The transmission is original to the truck. shifts smooth. without any noise or grinding.  The front axle is original to the truck.  The rear axle is original to the truck.  The brakes are original to the truck as are 4 wheel drums. They stop strong and straight without any pull to either side.  The chrome is original to the truck.  The tailgate works perfectly and latches tight.  The doors open and close perfectly and like new. They shut tight and solid. It's unbelievable how good they work. No hinge sag or binding.  All the glass is original and clear. (The windshield has a nickel sized bullseye on the passenger side middle. I couldn't bring myself to replace the windshield because it's original to the truck and causes no dismay. In my opinion it adds character to this one of a kind survivor!The engine is the original 272 Y block V8 with 2 barrel carb that runs and performs perfectly. It never smokes and uses no oil.  I rebuilt the original carburetor less then 1000 miles ago.  The original fuel pumps diaphragm went bad and I tried to find a rebuild kit and couldn't find one locally so I installed a new one. I still have the original fuel pump with the glass bowl and its included with the auction.  I replaced the points and condenser. plugs. cap. rotor and wires a few years ago.  I changed the oil and filter less then 200 miles ago.  
Here's a list of parts I would change if I were to keep the truck and make it 100% period correct.  Floor matTires Hub capsHose clampsHosesFuel pump (rebuild original)Fuel tank (current one is a custom made stainless steel tank that is of the same dimension and capacity as the original. Unfortunately the original tank was full of bad dried gas and was not salvageable. The current tank still mounts behind the seat just like the original and still uses the original sending unit and works perfect.  Battery to the period correct type (I replaced the battery about a year ago) 
I hate to sell this truck as it's one of my favorite. Being it's a one year model. and in this condition you'll never see another one like it. But it must go and I have to many other cars and projects going on.  If you want more pics or info please ask.  Thank you!Scott. 419-389-7673
