Triumph: TR4 convertible

Sale price: $17,000.00 make an offer

Seller's notes: This TR4 has been in storage for at least 25 years and is a previous owners body off restoration that was never finished. I purchased it many years ago and it has sat in my indoor heated garage since. There are many new old stock parts on it and no rust. Engine runs well with good oil pressure and transmission shifts as it should. It would make a good daily driver or an easy to finish restoration. Please note some things are not correct such as rad and dash front. Wiring is new but not completely sorted. I painted the car to keep it safe in storage and added many of the new parts that came in boxes from original owner. The engine hood needs work and seat backs are worn originals. There is a new light weight carpet set with the car. It has a heritage report but I am not sure all of the motor is original as it came with a spare head with one broken spring. I also have four hub caps in ok condition but the wheels I think are TR6 with new tires I put on five years ago.

TR4 runs and drives well. Recent new parts are a high torque starter as the original was getting week. I also added a heat
shield for the carbs plus new seat belts.   I can supply more photos. Wiring is not quite sorted but most things work as they
should. Panel fit is not great but that was the work of the owner before me who spent many dollars and years before he gave up.
He had a company do the body off work and most things look good with no rust but some of the welding  is not pretty as shown in photos. This car
has not been on the road or in the elements since 920 plus years and has sat in my two car indoor garage while I rebuilt/restored two TR6s. a TR250 and a
couple of jaguars.   It was sold new in Toronto in 1962 and would make a great daily driver but would take some work to restore to an original
state of condition. The paint looks ok in the pictures but is not professional in any way. Delivery would be up to the buyer.
Commission number is CT3196L and Body number is 3672-CT. I was told the engine was rebuilt when the body was off but I can not
verify that. Also suspension. all brake and clutch components  etc was also done and was told all four fenders. inner and outer plus trunk lid was new plus many other parts.
