1952 Oldsmobile Super 88 Convertible. In 1952 Oldsmobile made about 5. 65 Super 88 Convertibles. a very rare car. This is one of the finest examples in existence if not the finest. This Super 88 Convertible was assembled in South Gate California. and sold new at a Oldsmobile dealer in Culver City Calif. I am selling this fine rare car for my brother. He bought the Oldsmobile Super 88 Convertible in Oxnard Calif. at the Studebaker Lark Dealer in 1959. he was 21 then and now 76. He's owned this car for 54 years. From the time he owned this car it has been garaged 95% of the time. This car is not a frame off restoration. It's a California rust free car. It was rust free then and rust free now. In 1965 he installed  a 1957  J 2 engine   with 371 cu. in. and was rated at  277  horsepower. Take a good look this is a 24 year old restoration. and still looks like new. My brother restored this car himself. It was painted with lacquer paint in 1986. the same type used from the factory. This car was not restored to be sold. or to sell at the auction. You need to view this car to appreciate the quality of this fine rare car. This is not an every day driver. This car has always been his pride and joy. but it's time to pass the fun and nostalgia on to someone else. Take a look Jay Leno. this may be for you.
