BEFORE I CARRY ON WITH THE LISTING DETAILS. I AM WELL AWARE THAT MY ASKING PRICE IS AT THE HIGHER END FOR AN SD1. BUT PLEASE BE AWARE THAT IT IS IN FANTASTIC CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. AND BELIEVE ME I HAVE HAD LOADS OF THESE OVER THE YEARS. AND AM CERTAIN THAT THE FIRST TO COME AND SEE WILL BUY. Its nowhere near the highest prices I have seen. but its got to be as good as most of the very highest price ones.

 Excellent condition. only 2 previous owners to myself. have owned and cherished this car for almost 10 years . with it living in my dry garage all this time and never seeing so much as a drop of rain. There are obviously one or two body imperfections as to be expected of a car of this age. but I truly believe its as genuine an SD1 as you are likely to find.

Its been stood unused but started and moved on and off the drive for approximately the last 6 years due us having a baby and no time to use the car much. nd only just going for its mot a few days ago. and passed with the MOT inspector falling in love with her.

I fitted a brand new battery. as the old one was getting lazy. and with a quick check of the lights etc she went for the MOT. and went straight through (after 6 years stored) with no further work required.

In its day this car was the worlds fastest production saloon and was responsible for FORD to feel the need to collaborate with cosworth to produce a new production saloon car to try to win back the titles in salon car races.

Flagship model boasting 190BHP and manual gearbox and air conditioning. along with all the other usual Vitesse spec including sports seats on board computer. full electric pack including sunroof mirrors windows etc.

Fitted with a full rimmer brothers stainless steel race exhaust including stainless steel manifolds this car really does sound the business. and probably produces a few extra horsepower. A true british muscle car!!.

This car will suit a true enthusiast or someone wanting to have a car to take to classic car shows as it really is in very good condition considering its nearly 30 years old!!

Manual gearbox model. nterior is like new with no wear to any of the seats. they have always had covers on whilst in my ownership. Has never had a towbar fitted unlike most SD1s so boot floor is exceptional.

Engine runs "sweet as a nut". in the words of mr MOT man. lol. I should hope so. its not even ran in!!

This car drives as new. as to be expected due to the mega low milage.

As soon as the famous V8 burbles into life. reathing down the stainless tubes is sound is purely priceless. hence why I keep getting torn whether to keep or sell. The exhaust note of this car on tickover alone is worth the asking price. believe me.

My loss will most definitely be someone elses gain. I am hoping it will go into someones private collection.  

There is some very small blistering at the bottoms of all four doors due to the car standing. which I am willing to put into a body shop to have repainted depending on agreed purchase price. but have left them as they are for now so that any potential buyer can see that they are purely superficial and there is no heavy rusting to the door skins. There are also a couple of small dents to the drivers wing when something fell onto it whilst in the garage. again I will have these fettled by a dentmasters if required. or adjust the price to suit.

The bodywork underneath is 100% solid the mot examiner was amazed how solid she is. a true credit to myself and the other two owners. That said. as soon as I purchased the car I shultzed the whole of the underside so I assume this has probably helped too. No rusty sunroof or bonnet or bootlid here ;)

I doubt there are many cars that turn as many heads as this v8 beauty

I am in no hurry to sell the car. it just seems a shame for it to almost permanently live in my garage not getting hardly used. If the right person comes along then I will sell her. and am certain that the first person to come and view will almost certainly buy her.

I might possibly be willing to take a car or motorbike in part exchange through ebay rules of course but obviously this would be at my full asking price and only slightly over trade value given for any part exchange as I would merely be selling it straight back on as I already have too many vehicles.

The advertised price is for the car with all bodywork issues sorted. I m willing to listen to offers to buy the car in its current condition prior to bodywork being fettled up. I have some spares that would be willing to let go with the car.
