1999 MERCEDES BENZ E-Class E300D Turbo Diesel. a premium and economical Daily-Driver

All original and in excellent mechanical and aesthetic condition. this rare and classic automobile has been owned by a three generation family of Mercedes Benz diesel owners. My father. who introduced me to the phenomenal performance of these cars. put 500K miles on his first 240D model. and this is the third diesel that I have personally owned. The 1999 E300D was produced in Stuttgart (not in a US Benz factory) and was the last turbo diesel model exported to the US market until the Blutec series some years later. Mercedes Benz diesels hold their value better than their gasoline models.

Midnight blue exterior with tan MB Tex interior. the car comes with a clean carfax. clear title and in nearly flawless condition. The few interior blemishes are noted in the photos. otherwise in perfect condition. Exterior is without a single sign of rust anywhere on the vehicle; front end is in really nice shape without any signs of road rash. Of note is the fact that I did not detail the car for the photos. but rather keep it continuously very clean overall. though it could use a wax. Though I have only owned the vehicle for the past 6 years (I am the third owner). I am knowledgeable of the lineage of the car and know that it has always been garaged. and has only run on Mobile One synthetic oil since new. I personally have all service records since I have owned the vehicle.

With 173K miles (low miles for its 18 years of service). this classic and rare Mercedes Benz E300D has many more years of service to offer. Costing about $50. 00 new. it still performs as a high-end new production vehicle in every conceivable way. All factory options included on the vehicle function without issue. Mercedes Benz diesels are also notorious for getting good gas mileage and this one is no exception. with mid to high 20s in the city and low to mid 30s on the highway. Tires have about 20-30K miles remaining; spare is new.

A family emergency forces the sale of my beloved daily driver. so I am certainly not vehemently pushing for every cent I can get out of it. but rather want to offer it at a very reasonable price (compared to identical vehicles in similar condition for sale online) so it will sell quickly. Therefore. it will be offered at a very low entry level bid with NO RESERVE. Alternately. the Buy-It-Now option is also attractively priced.  

The car is located in the Seattle. WA metropolitan area and can be inspected and test driven by a prospective buyer at any time. I have a completely open and flexible schedule to coordinate any showings.
