Re-listed with no reserve as this car must be sold. I would have thought it to be worth more but.
Up for sale is my Dad's 1935 HUPP. It was purchased it in 1980 and as I understand he is the second or third owner. The car came out of a garage in Hinsdale from the original owner. It was disassembled in 1981 and painted. Lacquer paint was never buffed out. Painted by Jim Kukuska (sp) from Plainfield. IL. Interior is original with the exception for the front seat and carpet. I've been told its a very rare car (One of seven or eight known to still exist. ). Dad is getting on in years and its time to let her go. I always wanted to see him put it in a museum some place. He wanted to make a street rod out of it but couldn't bring himself to do it due to its rarity. Its been in climate controlled storage for the past 20 years. Car rolls freely and I remember dad driving it. It does have a cracked head that was welded for a repair back in the early 80's but it didn't work correctly and is still leaking from head. Car has not run since 1985 or so.
I do have a head available for the car for a minimal extra cost.

Is this car still for sale?

Good Morning Sir; Do you have additional pictures and would be able to help get the car trans ported. My father first car was a 35 Hupp. I would keep it in original and not turn it into a hot rod, just to let you know.
