1965 Valiant AP6

52-year-old vintage AP6. 54359 ORIGINAL MILES. 1 Registered owner from 1965 to 1998. Car was then stored from 1998-2017.

225 slant six Sedan. 3 speed manual. Body Type CS. Full purchase books and receipt from new $1312. 00 Full price Brand New. 11/10/1995 complete clutch replacement including machining the fly wheel. 14-07-1998 Had full recon head. Receipts dating back to 1989 of all mechanical work and servicing. Car has only done 556 miles since the recon head and has never been re-registered.

Been a loved vehicle by a husband and wife since new. Car has minor surface rust too Roof and small areas. rubbed it back and coated with primer to the roof bonnet and boot. Could be rubbed back again to reveal original paint. The upholstery is perfect -small stick split at the top of the back seat.

From what I can tell there was rubber floor matting inside but that is now gone only boot mat remains.

Car has never had a panel removed or panel damage. All gaps in the doors etc. are PERFECT (check pic) Doors open and close like new. Inside the boot is perfect. One slight scuff mark on the left rear wheel arch. Chrome bumper starting to flake and front grill and tail light surrounds are blistered. The engine bay and under bonnet was resprayed. Fitted extractors and a brand-new Holley Carb and manifold. Still have the original carb etc. Also. fitted an electronic dizzy but still have the original points dizzy. New mufflers. Made make shift twin pipes Good Pattern Great sound. Put Jelly Bean mags on it. again still have the original rims with cross ply tyres. This car starts first flick. sits and idles and runs sweet. The running gear is perfect. Drives exactly as you would expect for 54349 ORIGINAL MILES of well-maintained loved amazing car.

SO. in closing. Perfect body lines. Rust is surface. light sand its gone. Engine 54349 miles of loved well maintained HEMI. My upgrades of Dizzy. Carburetor. plus original parts with it as well.

So. I was born the same year 1965. we are both 52 yrs. old. and I now have newborn twins and need money for family reasons. And like the 52 yrs. of service that this car has done it is now going to help my family. Genuine original Valiant to be appreciated and looked after for the next 50 odd years.

Reluctant sale. To the person who can respect what this was. is and always will be.
