I am selling my beloved 2009 CTS-V.   I purchased this car in 2011 on eBay with 6. 00 miles on it. in showroom condition. and it has been my daily driver for the past six years.   A little bit about me before I get on to the car.   I am a middle aged (old) professional.   I generally drive. low. wide. black sedans that go really fast (the previous car was an M5).   I do not take cars to the race track or otherwise abuse them.   I do my own oil changes (did they really put the expensive synthetic oil you paid for in your car??) and this car only gets Royal Purple synthetic and K&N pro filters.   My car gets me from home to work every day. and transports my older kids to travel sports events all over East Texas on the weekends.   I put tons of miles on my cars. but most of them are at 90 mph on dead-straight roads.   I am also a tinkerer.   Everything can be improved. and nothing is ever good enough as-is.

About the car.   I bought it in 2011. and immediately had an Escort 9500ci radar/laser detector professionally installed.   Detectors are legal in Texas. but I think the window mounted ones look tacky.  I drove the car bone stock for a few months. but became frustrated with the cars loss of power on hot days.  The first thing I did was to replace the stock heat exchanger with a much larger unit. and install a 20gmp water pump.   I also had 2 inch Stainless Works long tube headers installed.   I installed a D3 cold air intake. and later modified it (tinkerer) to accept a much larger and lower mounted air filter.   This fixed 90 percent of my issues with the car's performance on hot days (pretty much everyday in TX). and I drove it happily for another year and a half.   In late 2012 the stock supercharger died.   2009 V's superchargers are ticking time-bombs. and GM promptly gave me a brand new supercharger free of charge even though I had modified the car (thanks GM!).   Never being one to leave well enough alone. I then took the car to Late Model Racecraft for a pulley kit and tune.   The Dyno graph is included. but she left the shop putting 600 horsepower to the real wheels.   To put that in perspective. a HellCat puts about 620 to the wheels.   When the car hit 100K miles. I rewarded it with new spark plugs and brakes (got 100K miles out of one set of hawk pads and stock rotors).   This summer I was going to powder coat the wheels and chrome black. and put in a whipple supercharger. but I am being relocated to a place where it snows six months of the year. and many of the roads are not even paved (seriously).    For you. I just gave her new tires. nbsp; new tire pressure monitors. a new air filter. nbsp;and changed the oil (I'm including my left-over K&N filters).

Exterior condition.   The car has 111K miles.   From 10 feet away. the car looks great.   Close inspection reveals small paint chips and dents from rocks in the front. a few door chips from parking lot a-holes. and subtle clear coat scratches.   I keep a GM "paint stick" in the glove box. and dab the chips as they happen.   The only "major" issues (pics included). On the hood there is a nickel sized area of paint checking (cracking) caused by a rock. it is near the driver's side windshield wash nub.   The rear bumper has many clear coat scratches and a few deeper ones.   These were caused by my kids putting their sports equipment in the trunk roughly (usually after a loss). The passenger's side rear door got splattered with tar. and it left a small area of clear coat and paint damage.   This is subtle. but can be easily seen on close inspection.   There is also a long horizontal clear coat scratch on that same door. probably from a car wash.   On the passenger side rear panel. there is a dime sized area of clear coat loss/paint checking.   On the driver's side passenger door. there is a vertical 1 inch scratch right at the back edge of the door.  There is a scratch near the bottom of the driver side rocker panel. near the pavement.  I have no doubt that a professional shop could make this car look nearly new reasonably easily.   I am embarrassed to admit that I curb-rashed both front wheels.

Interior condition.   The original owner purchased weather tech floormats for all seats. and they are awesome.   The dash and leather are overall in excellent condition.   The weather tech and original floor mats will be included.   There is no nav system. but everything else works perfectly and looks great.   There are a few scuffs on the lighter trim. but overall very good for the car's age.  About every three months or so. the ignition lock will not release. even when the key is present (usually when I'm late to get somewhere!).  The owner's forums taught me to pop the trunk. and disconnect (easy) the positive battery terminal for 5 seconds. which fixes the problem.

Disclaimer:  This car is tuned to run on 93 octane.   If you live where that is not available. you will likely need to get the car dynometer tuned.   This car is probably NOT smog-legal in California.   I don't know that for sure. but I wouldn't risk it if I were from Cali.   I am selling a used car in good condition.   This is not a new car.   This car has been modified to increase the power.   The stock parts (except the headers) will be included. and the car can be returned to stock tuning fairly easily if desired.   The slotted/drilled brake rotors are NOT spec'd for track use/racing.   If you plan on racing this car. you will need different brake rotors.

Local pickup is of course preferred. but If you arrange shipping. I will be helpful.   I would prefer a bank transfer as payment.   I will make sure cashier's checks clear prior to releasing the vehicle. unless they are issued by Chase
