1957 CABRIOLET 220S FILMED IN "THE GODFATHER: PART II" SOLID FACTORY-ORIG FLRS for sale

1957 Mercedes Ponton 220s Cabriolet with solid factory-original floors and low original miles.  Owned by one family since new. and once featured in the Francis Ford Coppola film "The Godfather: Part II".  Garaged in California for decades and not driven.  Engine is in good running condition. nbsp;carburetors rebuilt. nbsp;gas tank has been professionally cleaned and lined. clutch and tires are new.   Soft top is new.  Paint is approximately 30 years old and still presents well.  Trunk metal is solid and original.  A fine example of an original-metal garaged Mercedes Ponton Convertible.  Please examine the undercarriage pictures and note that all the factory spot-welds are clearly visible and in pristine condition.  Brakes and other mechanical systems need to be checked prior to driving.  Thanks for looking!  Please email any questions. and see a slideshow of 170 detailed (and downloadable) pictures below:
