2005 FORD EXCURSION XLT 4WD

Now available is this very nice 2005 Ford Excursion XLT 4WD.  This vehicle was recently traded in as a Ford dealership.  This Excursion is in great condition and is ready to haul the whole family or tow the boat. or do both at the same time!  2005 was the last year of production of these amazing trucks.  It runs and drives just as nicely as it did when new and everything is in proper working order.  Please be sure to view the 55 high resolution pictures below.

Mechanically. this Excursion is rock solid.  The powerful 6. 8L V10 engine is smooth and refined. yet has 310hp and 425ft-lbs of torque. which equates to nearly 10. 00lbs of towing capacity!  The exhaust manifolds are perfectly quiet. even from a cold start.  The automatic transmission shifts exactly as it should and the electronic 4WD is working properly.  The E-range tires are all like new.  The 3/4 ton heavy duty suspension is provides a solid yet comfortable ride. The air conditioning blows cold and all the electronics are funtioning properly.

Cosmetically. this Excursion is in very good condition for the year and miles.  The overall exterior very nice shape.  There are some minor paint chips and imperfections and one small dent very low on the passenger side front door. but nothing unexpected or unsightly for the year and miles.  This truck looks great and stands tall.  The frame and undercarriage are also in very clean and dry condition.

The interior is very clean. The dash. carpets. and leather seats are all in great condition.  There is very minor wear on the driver seat leather.  There are no smoke or pet odors.  Both front seats are power adjustable and all three roomy rows of seating are finished in tan leather.  The XLT trim has full power options and a DVD player has been added for rear entertainment.  Behind the third row is a huge trunk area.  There are no other SUVs that can match the interior size of the Excursion.

This 2005 Excursion is a beast of a vehicle.  It is without a doubt. the most heavy duty SUV ever produced and the only option for those who desire a real truck capable of heavy towing and hauling. yet need the functionality and driveability of an SUV.   I have bought and sold hundreds of gas and diesel Ford trucks.  I have had to rebuild countless Powerstroke Diesels and chased endless intermitten problems and fuel and oil leaks.  I can say with confidence that the 6. 8L V10 is an extremely capable and reliable engine.  It is simple to maintain and starts right up in the coldest weather.  It will also tow just as well as the diesels unless you are trying to tow 20. 00lbs. which is double what the Excursion chassis is rated for.  The diesel engines add significant complexity. reduced reliability. noise. increased maintenance cost. not to mention requiring more costly fuel and the price will nearly double for an equivilant vehicle.  Do yourself a favor and save the money and headache by purchasing this Excursion with a stout V10.  You won't regret it.

- Once full payment has been received. the title will be express mailed to the buyer.  The buyer can then register the vehicle or obtain temporary plates.
