1982 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce Red Convertible-50k miles - NO RESERVE

Good Day All.

For those of us with an Autumn season. it's wonderful weather for driving the back curvy country roads with your favorite music filling the sky while admiring the colorful leaves. simply breath taking. There is still plenty of driving time to experience the seasons in this spider. And for those who enjoy summer weather driving to beach in a convertible. need I say more. The new owner will be extremely happy driving this awesome machine.

My misfortune could be your fortune. Recently I injured my "clutch leg". and after several attempts trying to convince myself that I can still drive my "pride n joy". I finally came to the realization that I cannot.

In 82' Alfa Romeo introduced the fuel injection for the spider. which has always been reliable and quick starting. Recently replaced many standard driving items including: new tires. clutch assembly -- sachs press plate/disc/t/o bearings. resurface flywheel. new brakes & rotors. new battery and muffler. emergency brake; also includes a Sony multifunctional (i. e. mp3. cd. aux port for iPod. FM/AM Radio) with nightclub grade speaker system and leather seats outlined with red piping trim. All fluids were recently changed too.

The Interior is in great shape. The leather seats outlined with red piping trim. Plus just installed (2 month ago) a wind deflector. Now my wife likes to ride in the Alfa without her hair flying everywhere.  

And except for a slight crack just below the dashboard's top right vent. it's in very good shape. All gauges are now fully functional in dashboard and center console. I am the 3rd car owner. To my knowledge. this gem has always been garaged kept; only seeing rain a dozen times at most since the assembly line.

The original owner not being mechanically inclined. but couldn't afford to pay a professional. decided to tinker with a dashboard / console gauges. and messed up the gauges and non-drivable. let it sit in his garage unused for 4-5yrs. before selling it sold it off as a project car. The 2nd owner bought it as a project car. fixed the dashboard including the odometer cable (but couldn't get it back to the original 44. 81. instead to 28. 46 plus installed a Sony multifunctional (i. e. mp3. cd. aux port for iPod. FM/AM Radio) with nightclub grade speaker system. Circumstances arose prevented him from completing the remaining repairs (with the odometer reading of 29. 50 the car was driven just 704 miles under his ownership) so I convinced him to sell it to me.

The car was registered with its real mileage of 49. 50. exactly 20k of the odometer reading 29. 50. It's so easy to know the exact mileage by simply adding 20k to the odometer's reading. This should help put the mileage discrepancy issue to rest.

Under my ownership. all the other above purchases / repairs were made. The only repair that remains is the minor rust spots. which my plan was to fix during this winter.
