My MG is 100% garage kept and 100% rust free.  I have never driven this car in rain or snow and drive it around 200 miles per year.  In 2007 the car's exterior was completely stripped down to bare metal. primed and painted professionally.  The interior was completely redone to include seats. door panels and carpet.  In the fall of 2011 I performed the following major renovations mechanically:1. Remove and rebuilt all 4 shocks2. Remove and replace the front crossmember and suspension.  All parts were sand blasted and painted prior to installing. 3. Disassemble both king pins and replace all rubber bushings and seals. 4. Beadblast and prime all king pin assemblies and paint5. Degreases. beadblast left and right calipers6. Install new control arm pivots. rebound rubbers and upper spring locators7. Beadblast and prime both front coil springs8. Remove and install rebuilt rear differential9. Assemble rear axle. install springs. backing plate and brake wheel cylinders10. New brake drums and bleed brake system11. Install new rebound straps12. Rebuild starter
The bottom side of my car looks brand new from all of this work.  The engine runs perfect and has most of the original components to include the SU downdraft carbs.  I have never had to do anything more then tune this car up.  It starts on the first turn of the key and runs and idles perfectly.  The top was replaced in 2007 with the rest of the exterior renovation.  There is NO rust or even road rash on this car.  All lights. turn signals and gauges work fine.  The speedo jumps a little and more then likely needs a new cable.  Tires have 75% left on them. There is nothing more for me to renovate on this car.  There are ZERO rips or tears on the interior and the carpet front and back is perfect.  I have every receipt for every part I have ever bought and for all the service I have done to this car.  I honestly have one small door ding from someone opening their car door into me.  I knew I should not have parked that close.   I have almost twice the cost of renovations in the car compared to what my reserve is to sell it.  If you are looking for the cleanest MGB you have ever put eyes on. this is the car.
