                                                                 NO RESERVE

This 1950 Morris Minor Convertible is powered by a later-model OHV A-series Inline-four paired to a 4-speed manual. A refurbishment was conducted about 10 years ago and it features a tan interior and matching convertible top. It is equipped with the original spare-tire. jack. and crank  and has a clean Pennsylvania title.

The Minor was the first Morris model to take advantage of a steel unibody. rack and pinion steering. and independent front suspension. Lever action shocks and hydraulically actuated brakes are utilized at all four corners and the rear axle is hung on a pair of traditional semi-elliptical springs.

Developed shortly after WWII. the Morris Minor became one of the first British cars with sales exceeding one million examples. The burgundy exterior was refinished by a previous owner and features a tan accent strip. matching steel wheels. and a tan convertible top. The folding soft-top has plastic windows and is shown in the top-down position in the gallery. The “trafficators”(Side turn signal markers) do lift and illuminate properly.

The interior features seating for four. and is finished in tan with burgundy piping to match the exterior. The five-digit odometer shows 43k miles.

Power comes from a later model OHV A-series inline-four that runs a generator and uses the appropriate cloth covered plug wires. The motor runs really well having no leaks. smoke or blow back.   The four-speed manual transmission shifts effortlessly through all the gears. Everything works as it should and this dandy rare roadster has no issues and can be driven anywhere and often.   Top cruising speed is estimated at 65 MPR.

This is a completely rust free car that was professionally restored. The body is solid and the paint finish shine very nicely. The original interior. canvass convertible top. carpeting and gauge package are all in great condition. The underside is also rust and damage free.
