reluctantly for sale is my kool old 59 stepside truck. my only reason for selling is i am building a model a rod and need to plough some cash into it. i use this truck every day and it is 100% reliable. the truck is fitted with a transit 2. 5 di and 5 speed gearbox. ts no flying machine but its on the button and gives great mpg making it a practical useable truck. engine has had a full service. il. ilters. elts. ses no oil and runs as sweet as a di gets. i have the original 4ltr straight six petrol engine and 4 speed box which has only done 77k from new and is sweet. f you want to re fit this in the truck its all there and comes with the truck. body wise it is solid and as honest as they come. here is some welding required in the bed floor along the front edge but its no biggy. it has accumulated dings and scrapes over the years as you would expect from an old workhorse but has zero filler anywhere . t hides nothing. it has 10 bolt steels with chrome caps n rings and proper wide whites which are all excellent. the seat has been proffessionally re upholstered in grey vinyl with red piping and looks well. the roof is painted in house of kolor gold flake and really pops in the sun. the mot expired 17th sept but as its a 59 it no longer needs one and is of course tax exempt. theres a few jobs to do such as rig up a park brake. ne front spring has gone a bit limp but i have some extra leaves that could be put in. all in all a nice old truck with a nice patina and bucket loads of kool. its not particularly fast. ts noisy and drives like an old truck should. o dont expect a cadillac! viewing is more than welcome and recommended so you know what your buying. reserve is realistic. ot going to give it away but as i say. could use the cash to throw at my rod. any questions i would rather you call as i dont get on the pc much. good luck and happy bidding.
