2006 Mercedes-Benz E-Class

Beautiful 2006 MB E500 Sport 4Matic wagon. Overall an easy 8 out of 10. Reasonably rare to find an E-Class of this vintage with a V8 engine. For the same money you could have a V6. which is a lovely car. but who wouldn't rather have a real 5. 0 liter V8? It's fast. I'm the second owner and have driven the car regularly since about 67xxx miles. The previous owner was from Buffalo. The car was in absolutely immaculate condition when I bought it. Not a single ding or mark or stain. Since. we have used it as our family hauler: Kids to school; trips to visit Nana in the country; summer vacations to the beach. It is a wonderful car but it is time for us to move on. If I have my say it will be to an '85 300TD wagon. one of my dream cars.  
A thick pile of paperwork comes with the car. which has always been serviced at a Mercedes dealership or at our local Mercedes Specialists at Auto Shoppe here in Maryland. All service is up to date. Anything that has ever needed to be fixed has been fixed. It starts. stops and runs just as you would expect it to: extremely nicely.
No body work ever.  No rust.  No cracks in lenses. There is a wee bit of bubbling on the plate that attaches the rear window wiper to the car. It is completely solid. no flaking. One small scrape.  There are a few city marks on the bumpers but fewer than you might expect. One often unnoticeable crease on the driver's door. just under the handle. Exterior driver's door handle itself shows wear.  Otherwise the body is in really nice shape.  Tires have lots of tread. No cracks or chips in the glass. Moonroof works fine. Front headlamp lenses have become cloudy over the years and could use a good buffing. All lights work. inside and out.
Aftermarket Pioneer Stereo/Navigation/SiriusXM/Bluetooth with USB input was installed less than 2 years ago. At the same time I also added 2 additional USB outlets on the back side of the center console (in my family there is no limit to the number of devices which need power during a road trip).  Sound from the Pioneer is much better than the factory unit. I do have the factory unit and it comes with the car.
Interior is in fine shape. No rips or tears in leather seats or headliner. No cracks in dash or doors or hardware. Everything works just as it should. Cargo area is clean. Carpets are nice under matching floor mats. which are tired. Incredibly. the carpet on the passenger side front floor has never been touched. The original plastic cover was still there when we bought the car and I thought it would be amusing to leave it there. so I did. There is a bit of wear to fabric on driver's side door jamb.  
Wheels are all original. Pretty standard road rash on them. Third row seat opens and closes properly. All seatbelts operate properly. Heat blows hot and air blows cold. All electronics operate just as they should.
