Up for sale is my 1970 GTO.   Started off life as a Lemans Sport long ago before being transformed into the car as you see it now.
Highlights of the car include:  Beautiful gray metallic paint that looks wet when all polished up. new but stock appearing interior. 461 cu/in motor with 562hp and 580 lb/ft of torque.
About the car:  I bought the car freshly completed as you see it now about 10 years ago ish.   During the build the interior was taken completely out and dynamat was installed to keep the cabin quiet.   The car has a slightly lowered stance and the ride quality is terrific.   Boss wheels with Goodyear Eagles complete the look.   All of the brightwork around the windows and the wipers are polished.   The trunk is fully carpeted with black carpeting and the car has a nice retro stereo in it with all JL Audio speakers and amp.   I kept everything as stock appearing as possible.   I'm 48 and like the stock look of an interior and engine compartment with the exterior getting the attention.   Car has posi obviously and 3. 42 gears.   During the engine build I installed a Continental "Jim Hand Special" torque converter.   ----- I spared no expense on anything I have done to the car ----
About the engine:  Butler performance supplied the 461 rotating assembly for the motor and SD Performance out of Canada cnc'd the Kaufman aluminum heads and supplied the complete intake. 850 Holley. nbsp;and valve train. Car has a healthy roller cam in it and sounds choppy at idle.   I had the engine completely assembled and took it to Legendary race shop Reher Morrison for the dyno work.   They had never worked on a Pontiac before so it was a lot of fun for everyone involved.   Engine makes 562 hp and 580 ft/lbs of torque.   It makes over 500 ft/lbs of torque at 2800 rpm's.   I ran it down the strip once for fun and it will run 11. 70's at 120 mph with the stereo on.   It is in perfect tune and will roast the tires at will.   Car has the most perfect 3'' exhaust system you have ever seen and Magnaflow mufflers quiet it down. sorta. I installed a quicker ratio steering pump as well for a nice responsive steering feel.   I tried to keep the engine as stock looking as possible and even used stock valve covers with super tall gaskets to clear the roller rockers.
Whats not so perfect on the car:  There are some sanding marks in the paint on the passenger side near the roof.   There is a chip in the front bumper (that I just paid a boatload of money to have painted) on the passenger side.   The clock light is inop. and the heater fan sometimes works and sometimes not.   The rear bumper slopes down slightly at the ends.   It was that way when I bought the car and I have just grown to love it for what it is.
Overall it's just a super cool. well done. adult ass-hauler of a car.   I absolutely love this car as I'm not afraid to take it out and drive it as Jeg's basically supplies every replacement part to it.   I have had tons of these cars ranging from numbers matching rotisserie Chevelles to super boring Novas and this has been my favorite.   I would consider it to be a really nice driver quality car.   I saw someone said that their car gets more attention than Brittany Spears-- this one does too.
If you have any questions or would like to make an offer on it just please give me a ring or send me a message.   I'm pretty easy to get along with and live in the Preston Hollow area of Dallas.   I can help with shipping if you need it as I have a terrific shipper who moves my cars around for me.   I'll try and attach the video of the car idling so you can get an idea of what it sounds like.   It's really something to hear this thing run.
Thanks for looking at my GTO and have a great day!Keith  214-632-3407
Also:  I don't require a deposit but would like the car fully paid for within 3 days of auction close.   Any funds just have to clear my bank obviously before pick up.   Thanks again.
