This is a very clean 2002 Ford Excursion XLT with 105. 48 miles. It is equipped with the 7. 3L Turbo Diesel Engine. Four-Wheel-Drive. Posi-Traction Differential. Heavy-Duty Towing Package. Front & Rear Air Conditioning. Power Seats. etc. All of the equipment in this Truck has been checked and tested and everything is working properly.

 

** This Excursion has been owned and operated since new by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. We handle lots of government vehicles. and this one was acquired from the FBI in Virginia. In February 2002. they shipped this Excursion to Guantanamo Bay Cuba. where it was used by US Federal Law Enforcement vehicle at Gitmo. (See photos below for documentation). US Federal Government vehicles are some of the most highly maintained vehicles to be found because they are kept on a extremely rigid maintenance schedule and get the very best service possible.

 

This Truck runs and drives beautifully. The 7. 3L Turbo Diesel engine starts easily. runs very strong and smoothly and does not have any issues. It does not leak. and the oil pan is solid and dry. The transmission shifts very nicely and the four-wheel-drive operates properly. The Goodyear tires are showing lots of tread. and the brakes are in excellent condition. The oil & filters were all replaced this week. There aren't any service or warning lights on. and this Excursion is ready to be picked up right now and be driven anywhere.  

The Black paint is nice and glossy over the entire body and the exterior of this Truck looks great. There aren't any dents or scratches. and only some stone nicks and minor imperfections. There isn't any body rust at all and although the undercarriage is dirty. it is in excellent condition and not rusted out. This Excursion has probably never seen a single snow flake. All of the body trim. bumpers and alloy wheels are in excellent condition.  

The interior of this Excursion has been very well maintained and is nice and clean. All of the seats are in excellent condition and the carpeting is fluffy and clean. There aren't any holes or damage on any of the seats or carpets throughout this Truck. All of the interior trim pieces are intact. tight and in excellent condition. This was a non-smoker owned vehicle. and there aren't any smoke odors or burn marks in the interior. Most FBI vehicles do not have third row seats. but we can get one which will be included if the buy it now option is used.  

The vehicle history report is clean. and the title is clear. This Excursion looks. runs and drives excellent. I believe this Truck can be picked up. driven anywhere. and should provide excellent service for many years to come. PAYMENT:

A 10% deposit (minimum $500) is due 24 hours of auction completion. We accept Paypal for the deposit only. The balance is due within seven days. Pickup of the vehicle is within ten days of auction completion.

The acceptable methods of payment are Bank Wire Transfer. Certified Bank Check. Direct Deposit or Cash in person. We do not offer financing. Deposit down payments are non refundable. We do not accept trade ins. Any guarantee offer for this vehicle will be voided if payments are not made according to terms.

WARRANTY:

This vehicle will be sold AS-IS with no warranty expressed or implied by the seller. However. the buyer will be offered the option to purchase an additional Extended Service Warranty for all applicable vehicles.

The title is guaranteed to be free and clear. There will be no liens or encumbrances on the title. The stated odometer reading is within +/- 500 miles.

PICK-UP:

Please check with us before scheduling your vehicle pickup.  We are not a retail dealership. so it is very important to coordinate your arrival with us before finalizing your plans. We are available from 8AM to 3PM weekdays. and are closed on weekends.

We are approximately 15-minutes from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). the Amtrak 30th Street Train Station. and the Greyhound Philadelphia Bus Station. We may be able to pick you up at any of these terminals. so please inquire if interested.

REGISTRATION. TITLES & FEES:

Out of state purchasers do not pay any Pennsylvania sales tax. A $60 fee will be added to the final sale price of each online transaction. which will cover document fees and preparation. notarizations. and courier costs.

Temporary Transit Tags are available through the state of PA for $60. which will provide valid registration for a period of 30 days. In order to obtain this tag. please provide proof of insurance for any vehicle that you presently own.

Titles are available to the buyer immediately upon full irrevocable payment. which is performed by bank wire transfer or cash in person. Otherwise. the title will be sent to you after your payments have cleared our bank. Occasionally. a title is still being processed by the state and we will issue free temporary registration until the title is received.

All vehicles we sell on eBay are stored in a separate secured facility and we require that all vehicles be picked up within ten days of auction completion. Storage charges after ten days will be charged at $15/day for cars. and more for trucks and larger vehicles depending on size. (Storage charges will not apply to vehicles scheduled for pickup by a transporter).

We will try to exercise some flexibility to accommodate special requests regarding our terms. if they are placed before the auction ends. We also sell vehicles locally and reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time.
