1959 British Sportscar Project . MGA 1600 Roadster. LHD Florida import. USA Title present and import duties paid. HMRC CE386 form present along with the original chassis plate still in place.

Included in the sale are the following extra parts (some brand new) to convert to RHD such as steering rack. ashboard. accelerator. tc. also some other new spares such as electrical items. ear wheel cylinders. rear lights. ir filters etc 

Great restoration project. comes complete with wire wheels as shown and a British Motor Heritage Dating Letter confirming date of manufacture in August 1959

Straight body. aluminium panels; bonnet. boot lid & doors are very good. Original chromework present

WORK REQUIRED; 

Chassis needs replacing. a spare. very good spare chassis is included in the sale. New plywood floors are provided.  Most original parts are included. seats etc. except the windscreen glass. screen frame is included.  

MANY ADDITIONAL ORIGINAL MGA PARTS INCLUDED WITH THE CAR.

ENGINE / GEARBOX
An early MGB 18G 3 bearing engine is fitted at present. complete with mechanical tacho take off. It turns by hand. not attempted to start. will require fresh fuel / battery / possibly overhaul. Gearbox seems to be okay shift through all gears. Also included is a decent 1622 engine but this does not have the mechanical tacho take off point.
