1971 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

 After 33 years of ownership i am listing my 1971 Chevy Monte Carlo SS454 .    This is a very well optioned and rare automobile. with only 1919 total production built in '71. Options are stock to this car and have not been added.

 This is a running driving car and everything works although it needs some attention.    Paint job is what was on it when i purchased the car in 1984 and still looks decent but faded on top surface and shows inperfections and minor rust bubbles.  Interior is stock original with some of the threads coming undone on the driver seat.     The rare Power Bucket seats works as it should as do the power windows.     All factory gauges including the tachometer are also working but the clock only works sometimes. Car has some trunk rust but the undercarriage is very clean. never undercoated and the floors and frame are excellent.
 I purchased this car in 1984 from the second owner and don't believe this car has ever left the state of Florida.    Super dependable car and a fantastic road car.      Note.  this car starts right up and runs great.  but the tires are dry rotted on the back side large enough to put a dime in the cracks so it is not street worthy but will drive onto a transport truck with no issue.     The Goodyear Eagle ST tires are also 1984 dated. and while they dont leak any air and tread looks great they should not be driven on as I believe they might come apart at speed and do some damage. so it cant currently be driven any distance. nbsp;but with new tires and minor care she could be road ready but deserves a restoration by todays standards although I understand some people really like the unrestored barn find look.    If you have questions please ask before bidding as you are bidding to own.    Sold "AS IS" .  This car is located in Orlando Florida . not far from Disney World or Daytona Beach.

I found the Build Sheet today under the driver front bucket seat and I have added a picture of it.      Shows the car was sold new in Fort Myers Florida and more options than I have listed.
