MGA 1500 Coupe!!!

   Here is an extremely nice example of a MGA Coupe that has been the subject of a beautiful frame off restoration and is in excellent condition. This car is in beautiful condition and is great fun to drive!!!  These cars remind us of a time when driving wasn't just about getting from point A to point B or even how fast you got there. but the journey and experience along the way. This is a beautiful car that runs great and is an absolute blast to drive. This car was the subject of a no expense spared frame off/body off restoration about 5 years ago and has been driven about 1000 miles since. This is the nicest MGA coupe I have come across. The rebuilt 4 cylinder engine emits the classic British sports car sound and handles beautifully. The chromed wire wheels really give this car that quintessential British sports look.   Buy this turn key MGA. enjoy driving it for a couple of years and sell it on for the same amount as you paid or possibly even a small profit!!! These cars are rising in value and it can be difficult to find one that has been restored to this high of quality. It would cost far more than the asking price to restore an MGA to this quality. This car was built as a 1958 MGA Coupe but sold in 1959 therefore the title states its a 1959 which was extremely common practice during the 50s. This car is an excellent rust free car that drives excellent and shows very nicely.   This car represents a tremendous value and gets lots of looks and attention everywhere you go!!!

Exterior: The gorgeous Red paint has recently been applied and has been hand rubbed to a beautiful finish and the body is laser straight.   The big sweeping body work is in very nice shape and is 100% rust free. This car was the subject of a full frame off restoration and bare metal repaint. This car is absolutely rust free and very solid. Everything lines up extremely well on the car and doors open and shut with ease. I have never had an MGA where the hood. trunk and doors lined up so well. The cars exterior is complemented with the gorgeous bright polished grill and chrome wire wheels.   This car is as good looking in person as it is in the photos. All of the chrome is in excellent condition and is virtually like new. Only the grill is showing a small amount of wear. You could easily take it to your local weekend car show and show it with pride.   This car gets attention EVERYWHERE you go in it!!! It truly is in great condition.

Interior: The beautiful trimmed tan leather interior is like new and in excellent condition. The interior was completely gone through and reupholstered at the time of restoration. It has seen few miles since restoration and is showing virtually no wear. All of the gauges on the dash are in working order and the beautiful large wheel feels great in your hands. All of the lights. turn signals. wipers etc are all in great working order. These cars are very basic and this car does not have a radio. Sitting behind the wheel of the car is a great place to spend the weekend and this car offers a very unique driving experience that few cars can match.   Overall the interior is in excellent condition.

Engine: The rebuilt MG 4-cylinder engine revs smoothly and provides plenty of power and torque for the lightweight body and chassis.   One of the best things about this car is the sound it makes. it is the classic British sports car sound track that many of us have come to love.   The engine starts right up and runs like a top.   The engine doesn't blow any oily smoke while idling or driving. The car runs great and never misses a beat.   The 4 speed transmission shifts nice and smooth through every gear. The clutch has plenty of bite and is not in need of replacement. The brake master and the clutch master have "good feel. " During the frame off restoration the suspension was completely gone through and all bushings and hardware replaced. The undercarriage and frame of the car was completely stripped down and refinished. The bottom side of the car is extremely clean and well sorted. The car runs beautifully in the desert heat and has recently completed a 100 mile journey without skipping a beat. Everything works. from the lights. to wipers. everything works. This is a turn key MGA Coupe!  This is a great driving car and it is an absolute blast to drive.

This is a great driving and looking MGA Coupe.   It would cost tens of thousands of dollars more to duplicate this car. This really is an exceptional car and I hope it shows in these photographs. These cars are getting more and more scarce as the years go by and they are steadily increasing in value as people discover what a tremendous value they are in the vintage car market. This is a great investment that you can ACTUALLY DRIVE as opposed to calling your stock broker to see how your investment is doing!!!
