Bought February 2012 by my brother (90000 mls. ). I spent a couple of months going over it doing the following:New water heater valve. stainless pipe alongside RHS of engine. and hose from this to valve. Cooling system flushed and new coolant added. New tyre to spare wheel. Tracking checked / adjusted. Added LH bullet wing mirror. Refurbished parcel shelf. Fitted new brass slide bolts and receivers to rear seat back (hinged). Oil & filter change. Door sill kick plates & bonnet badge etc added. New door / hatch locks. Underside sprayed with lithium / copper grease which seems to have worked.  Much more work done - all recorded. In May 2012 the car was driven by my brother to Prague where he lives. The journeys there and back (in May this year) were breakdown / incident free!! The car averaged 35mpg. The body was professionally resprayed by the previous owner - records exist for the extensive work done by him and the previous owner to him - records date back to 1994. The engine has been problem free and a number of motor specialists have confirmed through tests that it is in excellent condition. Numerous other jobs were done on the car whilst in Prague. The body is in excellent condition with only a handfull of very small touched-up areas. No rust. The interior is very good - the only minor defect is that the stuffing is starting to fall out of the front seats upright bottoms. Webasto sliding sunroof. Workshop manual . etc. The car never fails to start on first turn and is most reliable. The car is currently SORN as we did not wish to incur the cost of tax and insurance once it was returned to UK for selling. Reason for selling - too many cars. There are many spare parts if wanted by the buyer. Passed its recent MoT with no work required. To be sold as seen.
