4 SALE 1986 Jeep CJ7 with Laredo package. * The 1986 was the last year of the classic Jeep CJ.  Jeep only built the CJ 7 for 10 production years. 1976 to 1986. and the "later production" years 82 to 86 came with the factory  "wide track axle set up" = To give the Jeep a wider tire stance for better stability and handling on and off pavement. The later year CJ line up also came with a factory "boxed frame" the early year 70 CJ did not! The later year CJ also had factory Power steering. Power Disk brakes. Tilt Wheel. Sway bar and other factory options the the early CJ never had. This CJ7 even has a factory equipped "5 speed manual transmission. The the early CJ only offered with 3 or 4 speed manual or (auto if you got a quad track full time 4 wheel drive)  * So yes this 86 is one of the more sought after CJ7 due to the many factory options available for later model year of the CJ's.  (This 86 Jeep has all the above highly sought after factory options) and even has a few more improved aftermarket options * It's a power steering.  power disk brake. title wheel.  5 speed with Laredo trim package "and it's Black"  Don't get better than that if you're looking for a true Classic CJ. It's also fitted with a mild 3 inch spring suspension lift for better ride quality on and off road. "Gives Jeep a nicer body stance" Jeep fitted with  33 tall by 12. 5 wide A/T tires ( Due the math - that's over 4 feet of tires rubber on the ground) = Better traction ! The stock 4. 2 inline 6 motor was rebuilt and a few must have "up graded" made to ensure "reliability" and to " improve the overall performance"  *The stock CJ7 Jeeps with 4. 2 all sold with a ECU "computer controlled carburetor"  Jeep called it a "stepper carburetor" This factory carburetor was controlled by a computer and limited the power and performance of the motor due to smog standards required 31 years ago.  As a 40 plus year Jeep owner that has rebuilt and repaired many Jeep this factory carburetor was a (bad idea at best). *So off with the old and on with the new and improved.  A New  "Weber 32/36" two bbl carburetor and New HEI high output distributor with self contained electronic ignition both installed on this motor. *All the factory smog junk and ecu computer removed from the motor to ensure true reliability and to improve the overall power and performance of the Jeep. SEE MOTOR & DRIVING VIDEO. This Jeep shifts and down shifts very nice. Jeep stops straight and on a dime. All running gear = motor. transmission. front end. rear end. and the 4 Wheel drive transfer case. drive lines. yokes. u joints and so on in great working order. UP DATE TO LISTING * A few questions asked by looker's so I will post for all to see  * Yes - Jeep has rear seat belts in it.  Seat belts under rear seat in photos so can't see them.  Yes - Jeep was just fitted today with the new Stereo like i said i would do in VIDEO.  It's a new AM - FM - CD - I POD - Blue tooth Stereo with "Hand free phone set up"  Nice Stereo!  Yes - New Tac also installed today so driver can see RPM range with driving. The Laredo had a Tac so i put one in it.   Also  YES "good eye"  the "Full door's" on Jeep fitted with aftermarket door LOCKS so you can lock the doors when the full top and doors on Jeep.  YES - But I forgot to show in Video the "back up light" on Jeep also do work.  Yes - the Horn works on factory horn button. Yes - Jeep is also fitted with a class 3 tow bumper on rear if needing to tow something behind it. Yes the driver seat will adjust on rails for tall or short driver I'm 6 '2 and driver seat is not even all the way back!  Yes I just had the Jeep out over the week end on a 4 hour road trip around Vegas in traffic and out to the lake and back - It ran flawless - NO ISSUES and fun to drive. 80 deg weather in Vegas this time of year. Jeep season for sure!  * Yes - Jeep runs very nice with the upgraded bigger Weber 32/36 Carb. Up graded  Distributor also makes day and night difference  over the stock junk carb Jeep sold them with.  Also  "No cat converter" on the exhaust = So it performs and sounds a lot better than stock exhaust ever did.  Thanks for the questions lookers and buyers - Low reserve - priced to sell - BID TO OWN.
