You are looking at an exclusive FJ43 Imported Japanese Spec. This FJ43 has been restored by us! TERRA CRUISERS. by the hands of our team of professionals with over 40 years of combined experience dedicated to Land Cruisers and custom Toyota restorations.   We will also custom build your FJ43 or FJ40 at your request in any color or accessories to suit your driving needs.

We decided to build this FJ43 in honor of the discontinued FJ Cruiser by painting it with the beautiful. and cool looking Voodoo Blue color when it first came out back in 2007. the first production year for the FJ CRUISER. We are so anal in all our restorations that even on the VIN plate color we engraved the 8T6 Voodoo Blue  color code from Toyota to make it as authentic as possible. It went through our TRUE professional and comprehensive frame off. bolt and nut restoration. All original bolts and nuts were media blasted and zinc plated. all other bolts and nuts such as the hardware on doors are stainless steel. even dough they are SST we place a nylon washer between every contact of the body/chassis and sheet metal to even prevent corrosion in the future.  All hinges. mirrors. floors. headlamps and any other accessory are Toyota OEM brand new. The chassis. drive shafts. axles. and differential housings were sand blasted. Every single ball bearing. gasket and seal was replaced for a new one. MANY UPGRADES has been done to this mint condition looking car such as an ice cold slim vintage looking A/C from Nostalgic Air. It has a 2. 5” Custom SUSPENSION KIT   with ½” Shackles and in the front and 2 ½” extended shackles at the back. It has FRONT AND REAR CROSS DRILLED POWER BRAKE ROTORS which will provide better stopping power and heat dissipation as well. It has a FRONT SHACKLE REVERSAL KIT. The front shackle reversal kit gives you many pros and additional advantages into the handling on. and off-road of the vehicle.  I will not get too technical about it. but you can Google it. and see the benefits of having this kit installed into any Land Cruiser that uses front leaf springs.

I can state with confidence. this is a one of a kind FJ43 and not even close to your average eBay car for sale! No doubts about it.

THE RESTORATION PROCESS:

CHASSIS AND UNDERCARRIAGE 

The entire frame and undercarriage parts were dismounted one by one. and sandblasted to bare metal leaving the main frame/chassis by itself with nothing attached to it to properly prep it.

This included axles. differential housings. drive shafts. leaf springs etc.

Everything underneath the car was sand blasted. painted with 2 coats of marine grade anticorrosion and was later spray painted with a 3 step process primed and later painted in the original black Toyota finish like it came from factory.

Every single screw. bolt. washer. and nut was either replaced or media blasted to afterwards be yellow zinc plated.  

DRIVETRAIN AND SUSPENSION 

All new U joints front and back.

Every single old bearing was replaced for new KOYO brand ones.

All NEW seals. gaskets. and retainer in both axles.

All NEW seals. gaskets. retainers and bearings in Gearbox and Transfer Case.

Gearbox and Transfer Case were completely overhauled and professionally adjusted with OEM tolerances.

NEW bearings and retainers in both front and rear axle and differentials all around

Fresh NEW oil in all differentials. gear box and transfer case.

NEW set of 4 Leaf Springs all around.

CUSTOM 2. 5“LIFT KIT with polyurethane bushings and extended Barbell shackles from CCOT (Best looking shackle in the market. by far!)

4 NEW shocks with NEW bolts. nuts and rubber bushings.

NEW steering dampener shock.

NEW steering tie rods
