We are proud to present our fully restored 1964 Sunbeam Tiger in immaculate condition. The dark green paint is deep and the finish is very consistent. A light tan interior color compliments the car well and it also in superb “like new” condition. This is an original Sunbeam Tiger that came off the production line during September 1964 and found it's first owner in California. An in-depth restoration was preformed on this Tiger and it is fully complete and correct. This is a car that you can be proud to show off. enjoy driving or store as an investment. BODY CONDITION

The body and sheet metal panels on this Sunbeam presents itself exceptionally well. Every aspect and component is in great shape. Some body work has been completed in order to retain its original shape. Every panel is true and accurate. Both front fenders are in very solid condition and they have the correct shape. The rear fenders are free are any defects and they also have nicely retained the proper form and inner braces. All four fenders line up perfectly to the main structure. All fenders and their fender brackets fit very well plus the front and rear fender wheel well arches are very tidy. The top section of the rear deck. between the convertible opening and the trunk opening where it meets both rear fender panels are in superb shape. The cowl piece with the sets of louvers which sit directly in front of the windshield are marvelous. Both doors fit well plus they open and close without any difficulty. The inner structure is absolutely tidy. The outer door skins are very accurate and clean plus the panels fit nicely. The door jam openings and the condensation drain holes are perfectly clean and free of any restrictions. The door pins. hinges. check straps. hardware and locks are very good and there is no unwanted movement to be detected. The seam where the outer door skin meets and folds into the support panel are completely tidy. The trunk lid and lower rear valance have the proper curvature and they are in fine condition both inside and out. The hood. its hinges. scoop. latches and lock are in wonderful condition. The inside is as clean as the outside. All crown and swage lines match up very well. The hood. both doors. the trunk lid and all fenders line up exceedingly well with each other and to the main structure. All gaps are clean and very accurate. Both rocker panels. front and rear valances are finished off very nicely.   The body and paint shows exceedingly well.

 PAINT CONDITION

The resprayed brilliant Green paint on this Sunbeam have exceptional depth. gloss and reflection. There are no runs. sags. cracks. crowsfeet. orangepeel. fisheye or motley to be noticed.

GLASS CONDITION

The new laminated safety AS1 windshield. both vent windows. the door Triplex Toughened glass plus new plastic R AS6 M3 rear convertible window are all free of any major defects. There are no signs of wiper marks or chips. The headlamps. amber / clear parking / signal lamps. rear licence plate lens and tail lamps were found to be in very tidy condition.   The aged standard interior rear view mirror and the internal gauge glass are exceedingly tidy. The new front windshield rubber weather stripping. both door weather stripping. the trunk weather stripping. all under hood rubbers. wiper blades. fuel filler grommet. trunk rubber plus the many grommets are free of water leakage or stains.

BRIGHT CONDITION

The complete windshield frame. the door vent window chrome pieces. hardware. external trunk handle and external hinges. door handles and locks. the convertible tie down handles. both wiper arms and their bases. washer nozzles. right rear fuel cap. parking lamp bezels. tail lamp bezels. the chromed front and rear bumpers. bumperettes plus protective rubber. their retaining carriage bolts and spacers. the grille and its surround trim pieces are problem free. All decorative Sunbeam Tiger emblems are correct for this vehicle and they are in exceptional condition.

INTERIOR & TRIM CONDITION

The manual black convertible top. its grey top bows and hinges. header pieces. bright latches. the interior black cloth. the insert tie-downs. caps. plastic rear window plus the tonneau cover are new. The inner windshield trim. convertible opening trim pieces. the panels which pulls down for the rear compartment. all fasteners. flooring. the door check straps. tan door panel inserts. piping. chrome door handles and black escutcheons. both tan pleated bucket seats with trim piping. the bases and their mechanisms. their rear section. black seat belts and anchors. the complete tan floor carpet. inserts plus its trim pieces are new. The matching coloured carpet kick panels and piping. twin black Pioneer speakers. the steering column and telescope type black steering wheel with decorative Sunbeam emblem horn button. foot pedals. their brackets. the hand brake controls and transmission shifter lever are great. The black metal / padded dash board. dash board facing with bright gauge bezels are extra clean. The dash houses the 140 mph speedometer. odometer. tripmeter. Jaegar 5000 rpm tachometer. fuel. engine oil pressure. water temperature. Lucas amp gauges. The gauge facings are black with white figures and stainless trim. A CD-stereo {CDX1300 has been installed. The center console. arm rest and storage compartment plus all of the under dash wiring and fuse junction are new.    As can be determined by the pictures supplied the trunk flooring is as tidy as the external body parts. The trunk floor is perfectly solid. has a new black carpet. jack. proper tool kit. a cover for the Optima {Yellow 34/78 / 750CCA / serial#: 11405 00045} battery plus spare tire and rim.

TIRE & RIM CONDITION

A very good set of black walled. Uniroyal Tiger Paw 185/70R 13 {85S} radial tires are mounted on special four-bolt Panasport JJ13 alloy rims with small hub caps and bright acorn lug nuts topping off the assembly. All components are in wonderful condition.

UNDERCHASSIS & SUSPENSION

The pressed steel. unitized frame. members. sub-framing. mounting points. bushings and supports on this vehicle appear to be in superb shape. It appears that the unit has never had any structural damage or rust outs. The swaged flooring is solid and has been coated. There is no evidence of damage or leakage from the fuel tank. fittings or its lines. The brake lines. master cylinder. wheel cylinders. linings and flex lines for this front disc and rear drum brake system appear to be good. The rocker panels are finished off nicely. The front independent coil springs with unequal length A-arms and anti roll bar plus the rear semi-elliptic leaf spring suspension shows no signs of cracking or sagging. The rack and pinion steering and front end is well maintained. The exhaust is a twin pipe / muffler system.

MECHANICAL CONDITION

The overhead valve. 5-main bolt. eight cylinder block. 260 cid. engine starts. idles and runs exceptionally well. The engine and all its parts are perfectly tidy and maintained. A two-barrel. single feed. carburetors sits on the stock intake manifold plus all new fuel lines appear to be free of any defects. All linkages. fittings and tubing are free of any problems. The engine block. cylinder head. chrome rocker covers and engine components are perfectly clean. All fluid levels and pressures checked out very well. There are no signs of coolant leakage in the multi-core radiator. water pump or any of its hoses. The fan belt and pulleys are in great shape. The firewall and inner splash fenders are in fresh body colour. The wiring. both high tension and standard. cables. nbsp; distributor. connections. starter and twelve-volt battery and regulator are good.   The transmission is a four-speed manual shift and all linkages are in good shape.   The hypoid differential {probably 2. 88:1 ratio} unit. universal joints and driveshaft appear to be in very good order.

SUMMARY

The mid-sixties Sunbeam roadster is in amazingly solid condition. It is an excellent example of a mid-sixties. British performance. minimum produced automobile which is very complete condition and is sought after by collectors of that era. The previous owner has spent an extensive amount of time and money in refurbishing this vehicle.
