MPE auto is proud to offer for sale this 1980 Ferrari GTSi from a private collection. This 308 is a terrific driving vehicle. The engine runs strong and the gearbox/clutch is in excellent condition. The timing belts were replaced and a valve job performed at 32. 00 miles. Mechanically this vehicle is ready to drive and has been serviced and maintained by a professional staff that looks after the entire collection of the current owner.

This 308 was showing signs of fading and was repainted with Ferrari factory paint about ten years ago by a high-end vehicle specialist. The paint job is stunning and shows a high quality luster. The weather stripping and exterior features are excellent and do not show any significant weathering. There are two dime sized nicks in the rear trunk area to note. other small blemishes in the paint are pointed in the attached pictures. There is a small tear in the weather-stripping on the passenger side front door window. Tires have most of their tread life remaining and the wheels are in excellent condition with no sign of curbing. While the vehicle spends most of its time stored in a climate controlled warehouse it is still started often. kept current with maintenance and kept on a battery tender.
There is a "squeak" from the clutch pedal that has been pinpointed to the hinge. but it retains full functionality and shows no sign of failure. A discrete aftermarket radio has been installed. Wipers. taillights. headlamps. turn signals. hazards and reverse lights are all operational. Vehicle was recently taken on a 20 mile test drive and performed flawlessly. This is the perfect "drivers" 308 GTSi.

The Deposit:
Please be ready to place a $500 deposit within 48 hours of auction's close. All transactions must be completed within 10 days of the end of auction. If the car is not as represented upon your personal inspection at our dealership location. you will be under no obligation to purchase and your deposit will be refunded. Failure to complete the transaction within 10 days of auction end will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.

Tax. Title and License:
Local residents are responsible for applicable sales tax in your county as well as title and licensing fees. If you live outside of our state. you are responsible for applicable tax. title and licensing fees in your area.

Note: If the deposit is not received within forty-eight hours (2 business days) or if the sale is not complete within 7 days of the close of the auction. we reserve the right to sell to the next highest bidder or to another qualified buyer.
