1997 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 CONVERTIBLE-30TH ANNIVERSARY

This is an opportunity to own one of the iconic examples of the nineties performance cars. 1997 Camaro Z28 Convertible. 30th Anniversary edition. 54. 00 original miles. Original owner. since 12/13/96. Original window sticker. RPO Z28- Special Performance Package and RPO Z4C- 30th Anniversary Package.

Driven fairly regularly in good weather the first few years of ownership. After that. mostly driven to shows. cruises and car events. Always garage kept. Never seen snow or inclement weather. Always strictly maintained. Adult driven. Excellent condition inside and out. Very rare car. Only 1001 Z28 30th Anniversary Convertibles were manufactured in 1997. 684 with automatic transmission and 317 with 6 speed.

This rich heritage. combined with three decades of racetrack success. has made Camaro a household name. The Camaro is one of the most recognizable cars on the road. The 1997 Chevy Camaro represented 30 years of uncompromised American sports car performance.

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Camaro. Chevrolet introduced an appearance package modeled after the 1967 Indy 500 pace car and was only available on the SS and Z28 Coupe and Convertible Camaro models. The "Z4C" appearance package was an additional $575 and came with Arctic White paint with Hugger Orange Stripes. Arctic White Leather Seats with special embroidery. White 16" 5-Spoke Alloy Wheels. and 30th Anniversary Decals and Floor Mats.

Original Oklahoma car. Vehicle is in excellent condition. Factory original with the exception of a Lingenfelter cold air induction package and Hotchkis strut tower brace. Original factory Arctic White base coat/clear coat with Orange stripes. All original body panels. Paint is in very good condition. Shines to a mirror gloss. There are a few minor flaws in the exterior. The minor flaws are included in the exterior photos. Two little scratches on the driver outside mirror that need touch up. Minor age cracking in the paint on an area of the driver side of the composite bumper. There are a few small scratches or scuffs. There is a slight ding/dent on the driver side quarter panel at the bumper seam. That's it. White factory 16”x8” aluminum wheels. Firestone Firehawk Directional radial tires- P245/50R16. New in 2015. Dual bullet electric remote sport mirrors. Fog lamps. Tinted glass all around in excellent condition. Rear spoiler. Rear mounted mast antenna. Body side moldings. Power convertible top is in excellent condition. replaced in 2014. Needs a little cleaning from storage. but excellent condition. Glass window is also in excellent condition.

Black and White houndstooth interior is in excellent condition. Seat covers were redone last year due to some discoloration. Six way power reclining driver seat. Driver and passenger airbag. Air conditioning that blows cold. Dash is in excellent condition. Instrument gauge cluster with tachometer. fuel. battery. oil pressure. water temperature gauges. Factory AM/FM/ cassette with seek/scan. Dual coaxial speakers. . Power windows. door locks. mirrors. trunk release. and convertible top. Keyless entry. Theftlock deterrent system. Auto headlamps. Leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.

5. 7 liter HO LT1 engine. 285 HP. Sequential port fuel injection. Factory aluminum heads. Everything in the engine bay is factory stock except for a Lingenfelter cold air intake system and Hotchkis strut tower support. Electronically controlled 4L60E automatic transmission with overdrive. 3. 23 post traction rear differential. Ride handling suspension. Four wheel power disc brakes with ABS. Power steering. Torque arm rear suspension. Coil springs front and rear. Front and rear stabilizer bars.
