RARE 1962 PLYMOUTH BELVEDERE

Two Door Hard Top

This is the first year production of the B body platform Mopar's and introduced the legendary superstock factory-built race car

This particular car has been built by ourselves over the past 18 months - many hours. blood. sweat and toil!  Making this car a superb looking and driving street machine

We have been building quality Mopar cars for over 30 years and this is no exception.

The car has spent all it's life in California which makes the bodywork one of the best we have ever seen - there are no patch panels. no replacement panels. all the original spot welds are all visible with full original outer sheet metal

All the components on the build of this car are new or as new

The car drives great - goes straight and stops straight (just completed a round trip to the Mopar EuroNationals where the car picked up a Top 5 award)

Now the technical stuff:

Engine:  1969 Hypo 383 big block - torque intake - Hedman shorty headers - mild hydraulic cam - 350HP - Demon 600 vac sec carb

Gearbox:  TCI 727 - TCI 11" 2200 stall converter

Axle:  A body width 8¾ - Yucon shafts - 2. 73 gears

Wheels:  10 x 15 Pro-Stars with Mickey Thompson 31 x 12. 5 tyres (rear) 7 x 15 Pro-Stars with general tyres 235/70/15 (front)

Suspension and Brakes:  1971 cross member with anti-roll bar - later engine mounts - SSB company disc convertion with servo - all new bushes and ball joints 

Body:  Original sheet steel with no patch panels or outer welding - rear spring relocation kit (giving an extra 2" in the rear wheel tubs) - plus frame connectors

Interior:  Completely retrimmed in black with bucket seats and hot rod gear shift - Stewart Warner gauges - Billet steering wheel

To sum up. this car is one of the best street machine Mopars in the Country (and probably the only 62 Hard Top) - an absolutely awsome appearance - great drive. in fact 100% reliable drive anywhere!

Full nut and bolt restoration

The reserve is only the cost of parts that have gone into this car which makes it an absolute bargain - make no mistake. we will NOT give this car away.   If it doesn't make the reserve then we have a Hemi engine standing by just waiting to be fitted!
