If your looking at this then I think the chances are you will know what this is. this is a genuine 3 owner car including myself. it has both vin plates and the chassis number stamped on the inner wing turret. And yes it says escort twincam on the v5 which I have in my name. and it has all the holes in the right places.

I bought this as a rolling project to do myself but then decided to get it to concourse standard. however due to lack of time and I need the space for a new car I have coming next week. I have decided to sell it.

It was sympathetically sand blasted and the pictures are of the car when it had had no work done to it at all. As you can see from the pictures it was very solid to start with. nbsp;However if you have ever been involved with preparing a car to concourse standards then it doesn't come cheap. I have spent up to now just short of £12. 00 at a specialist restorers making it perfect. (I have the invoices) As it stands now the shell is finished apart from the front wings need fitting and then prep/painting. (It is also back on it's wheels so can be transported easily) All the parts used were original ford parts there are absolutely no pattern parts or after market parts on this car. all original ford.

 It has both doors boot and bonnet. gearbox and rear axle. Also I have spent a fortune on buying all the hard to find parts as pictured. Please take a minute to add up the value of the parts pictured and please bear in mind that I have not compromised at all so have paid top money for them all. Not pictured is all the parts that came with the car like the wiring loom switches rear lights etc.

I also have a brand new 701 L block to go with the car. this block is "brand new" old stock never been fitted and is unstamped so you can retain the originality of the car. To say that this engine is rare would be an extreme understatement. it has been sat in it's original wooden pallet since it was sold by for a racing project that didn't happen and then sold to me.  I have been offered a lot of money just for the engine alone. but I would like it to go with the car.

I think this is a very rare chance to buy one of these cars. I have spent up to now £35000 pounds including buying the car to get it where it is today (I have all the receipts).   I don't expect it to go for anything like that on here so with a little work it will be a great investment. I can only find two others for sale. nbsp; and they are upwards of £65000.

I really don't want to sell it for obvious reasons but I just don't have the time to finish it at the moment and it seems a shame to just have it sat here when it should be being shown off to enthusiasts at the various shows. and I've put myself under a bit of pressure having a new car arriving next week and as it stands I havn't got anyware to put it.
