I am the second owner of this 12 cylinder Mercedes S600. It was purchased on Ebay in 2006 with 43. 00 miles from a Washington D. C. financier and used as my business car here in Reno for a few years. It has not been  driven a lot over the years and still has just under 60. 00 miles to date. Most of my mileage has been on road trips to Las Vegas and San Francisco. almost never in bad weather and always garaged.

I always thought the original 16 inch wheels looked a bit small on such a large sedan so they were upgraded to later model 17 inch wheels in 2010 along with drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic brake pads. Mileage at the time was just under 50. 00. Ceramic pads work just as well and leave little visible brake dust on the wheels. The only draw back seems to be a brake squeal on first application in cold weather that quickly disappears.   New Pirelli tires were added in 2015 at 56. 00 miles so they are practically brand new.

The car has been consistently serviced by a Porsche specialist here in Reno with good knowledge of German cars. This is my third Mercedes and I have used the same shop for over 20 years.

If you are familiar with the W140 platform built from 1997 through 1999 you know what an outstanding vehicle it is. It is my understanding that these cars stickered at over $130. 00 and less than 500 of the 12-cylinder models were imported in each of those years. I can't recall ever seeing another one on the road. With less than 60. 00 miles it is likely to be one of the lowest mileage S600's left in existence. It still delivers a commanding presence. even in the company of newer Mercedes.

The engine was originally rated at 389 HP and 420 ft-lbs of torque. Seems light by some of today's standards but that was a lot in 1997.   At nearly 5. 00 lbs this machine accelerates with impressive force pushing you deep into the cream colored leather seats. While passing on Nevada highways it hits 125 mph in seconds without any stress and still feels like Sunday cruising. Long drives are very comfortable and the wife loves the sense of safety this heavy car provides.

There are a few marks on the paint here and there. but they are hard to see in anything other than the brightest sunlight. The only dents are near the driver side passenger door handle. I didn't see them until a couple of years after the purchase. The black paint is miles deep and looks brand new when standing right next to it.

Everything works and air conditioning blows very cold. It takes about one can of refrigerant every two to three years to stay in top shape. If interested you can research the options list that were standard on these cars.

$500 deposit required from successful bidder within 72 hours. Full payment due within 1 week thereafter via wire transfer or PayPal. Will accept cashiers check but it has to clear before releasing the car.
