Up for sale is my 1966 Ford Mustang in great shape. The car has absolutely no rust and was completely and professionally repainted in January of this year (receipt and proof of warranty will come with the car. its not a show car quality but I spent over $3k on the paint job alone). The car has brand new floorboards and a fiberglass hood. the side decals are new and vinyl so they can be removed if you don't like them. The car good all new chrome parts to include both front and rear bumpers and hardware. door handles. mirrors and all decals. rear quarter trim. I have the front and rear window trim but have not installed it since I like the black look but it will come with the car. The tires are in good shape and the rims are cleaned. painted and clear coated and come with the new beauty rings installed.

The car has basically a new interior to include new front and rear seat covers. new door panels with handles. new under-carpet insulation. new carpet. aftermarket gauges and a new shifter boot. The glove box is not installed but is new and is included. The headliner is in good shape but a new one came with the interior kit and will also be included. The interior also got new chrome door sill plates. The trunk has a new factory style mat included as well.

The chassis is in awesome shape. new floorboards. no rust on the frame or undercarriage. The car has front non-power disc brakes and drum rear brakes (all in good shape). The suspension has new shocks and bushings.

The powertrain is like new. The four speed manual transmission was rebuilt and painted in March of this year and a new clutch and fork was installed as well (receipts and warranty information also included with the sale). The car also got a brand new shifter since many of these cars have gunk built up and they don't like to find the gears (over $400 itself). The 289 V8 motor was also freshened up and painted and is basically stock with an Edelbrock four barrel intake and carburetor as well as an HEI distributor. The exhaust is in good shape and comes with long tube headers and a true dual exhaust out the back. New battery. new spare spark plugs and remote solenoid.

I have a lot of the original pieces to include chrome. bumpers. interior pieces. old suspension parts.

The “good”:

New paint (warranty as listed above). new chrome. rebuilt drivetrain (warranty as listed above). new interior. new shifter

The “bad”:

Fuel gauge needs the wire hooked up. Brake light switch needs to be hooked up correctly. Glove box (included) needs to be installed and the clutch pedal needs adjustment given the new clutch – I will try and get it done this week

Vehicle is sold as is where is but you can 100% see it before bidding or have someone come look at it if you would like to!!! It's not a $30k show car or frame off restoration but it's a good solid 50 year old car. I am trying to be as totally transparent as possible so you can bid with confidence. Free and clear Virginia title.
