Car is located in Syracuse NY at second home. but registered in FL due to our main residency.
A great summer cruiser that you don't see everyday. a beautiful 1961 Cadillac DeVille. California Black Plate #'s matching 390 motor & trans.  Purchased from the family of the gentlemen who bought the car in 61 in California and we've enjoyed the car for a few years and don't get to drive her as much as we'd like.  When i purchased the car i was told the car was repainted in 2012 triple stage dupont white. I would rate an 8 out of 10. brakes were done. signals. lights and horn all work.  New interior and the car floats down the road and turns with ease.  Car stays straight when braking.  Car has a new front window and the side windows have all new felt and rebuilt automatic motors for smooth operation.  AC works but needs recharge. we typically drove with the windows down anyways so it didn't bother us.  To ensure a more reliable operation. original carb replaced with an edlebrock.  Instead of undercoating the car to put lipstick on it. we kept it original to show it's true honest California dry condition.
We have a new gas tank for the car which comes with it. we were going to replace it but haven't had the time. car drives just fine with existing tank but it is original.  Car does have minor items i would have taken care of if i kept the car longer but none of them prevent the car from being enjoyed
1) Odometer cable gear is stripped since we purchased the car. mileage should be only a few hundred off2) DeVille script on front fenders missing. could be purchased from OPGI. com3) Install the gas tank
Car sold as is and can be enjoyed immediately.  Prefer this car be sold to a good home rather than temporary buyer but whomever purchases it will get a very nice saturday night cruiser.  Contact me for any questions MIKELAGANA@YAHOO. COM
