Hi there. on offer is an excellent project car base for the Volkswagen enthusiast.
Last rego was in 1988 (I have the original pink slip & rego sticker from 1st Nov. 1988)
The body is a solid VW 1956 Oval window with period correct semaphores. bonnet. boot lid. guards and brake lights.
It requires bodywork and the usual few rust repairs. which all are relatively easy and replacement parts are readily available.
The body sits on a 1969 floor pan with ball joint front end and swing axle rear end.
Floor pan is in pretty good condition.
Gearbox is tight. leak free and has new rubber boots.
2 Front seats are included and are Stratos brand which are in good condition.
Included is all parts shown in the photos. plus a complete and dis-assembled 1835cc twin port motor. with 110 engle cam. twin 40 IDF Webers. 36HP fan housing. 009 dizzy. extractors and muffler.
New running boards are included. plus some other bits & pieces for the vehicle.
Not included are the front windscreen. head lights and rear seats.
Viewing is highly recommended.
