1964 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series

A very nice and better kept MB 220 SE 1964. Fuel Injected matted to a  4 speed transmission. Engine have being complete overhauled 650 miles ago. New pistons. bearings. rings. water pump. etc. etc and etc. Everything on records. (Invoices. expenses and what not). The Speedometer reading is 7200 Km's.
I will say and because of the overall condition of the car. that it might be a 107200 kilometers car. In any case. I don't know. maybe 207200(125576 miles). That last figure sounds about right to me. The paint shows very nice and shinny. The interior upholstery is Blue. same as the carpet and mats. door panels. etc. The Headliner is White.
The car is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow morning. (04/18). to F1 Imports & Exotics/Manfred's Garage. here in Naples. in order to have everything checked and serviced after the first 800 miles driven since the engine was rebuilt/overhauled at their facility. They are one the best places in US. Take your time and find out. The Cylinder Head will be tightened/re torqued according to specifications. the fuel injection system will be check/re-calibrated. etc.
As you can imagine the car runs very nice & strong and of course. after a couple of thousands miles more will be running much better. smoother and stronger. It is a real pleasure cruising this Opera Coupe on the Highway. Just. BEAUTIFUL !!
I bought 5 Mag original MB Euro style wheels together with the center cups and original bolts and installed 5 new tires. The original wheels. 5) Beauty rims. 4) and center cups. 4) are going with the car. Nice. tight and smooth suspension. No weird noises. This is a very solid car with perfect gaps. sunroof. beautiful interior . original carpets and a very nice and original Headliner.
All the windows rolls up and down and the door vents are also in perfect working condition.
All the gauges are in good working condition. so does the lights. E-brake. windshield wiper foot actuator. wipers. turn signals. High and Low beam lights. horns. interior light. etc. The clock stop working. Steering. brakes. rear and front end. everything good. Engine mounts are also new. Heater fan and system OK. No AC. Original factory manual. jack and wheel tool. Absolutely no overheating. Car goes like an Arrow @ 75/90 miles/per hour. Speedometer is in Kilometers. You are welcome to come inspected and test drive the car. You won't be disappointed. Remember that it is an early and very hard to find 220 SE model/version in such an spectacular unmolested condition. This is not a restored car.
Inspections are always welcome but always before the Sale ends. Never after.
