Texas. No expense was spared. as all the receipts are with the MGB. The paint is in fantastic overall condition. As is the rest of the car. The undercarriage and engine compartment are clean and spotless. The MGB does have a slight oil leak from the valve cover gasket and it should be addressed by the time the car sells. Being in storage for the past year and a half. its time for the owner to sell. Work has forced the sale and the car is with us with free and clear ownership documents. All receipts of the restoration and documents there of are available and with the car. The car drives well. the transmission and clutch are smooth without any grinding issues. The exhaust has a nice grunt to it and it does keep up with freeway speed traffic. The top not being used much is a little harder to close. but again poses no issues. Please feel free to come see the car or have your own inspection done. We will be more than happy to facilitate the inspection. at obviously the intended buyers expense. The Radio has been updated to a newer style and the ariel has not been reinstalled on to the right front wing in the event the next owner wants to keep it looking clean. Hence the ariel is in the car. The flaws on the car have been pointed out in the pics. The MGB does come with a car cover. tonneau cover. and a Convertible top that is flawless. The rims are all minilites. and all have new tires . all five of them. The car has had a battery cut off switch installed as seen in the pics in the rear compartment behind the passenger side seat. Personal check and company check are never an acceptable method of payment unless prior arrangements are made with Universal Motor Cars and are subject to at 7 to 10 day clearing period. All funds must clear our account before the vehicle is released. Deposits are non-refundable. Terms_Deposit: $500. 00 Terms_Tax: 6. 25% All Texas residents subject to state and local tax. title and license fees. All vehicles are subject to a one time $150 Administrative fee. This fee includes Documentary & Prep fees. There is also a Vehicle Inventory Tax that is mandated by law. that amount is . 002107% of the sales price. For example. on a $10. 00 vehicle this tax will be $21. 07. The administrative fee and the vehicle inventory tax are not negotiable and not included in your final bid. Most dealerships charge over $450 on top of the prep fees and Vehicle Inventory Tax which we find to be unfair. These are the only additional fees assessed to out-of-state buyers other than shipping. not a penny more!!! Texas residents pay 6. 25% sales tax and a $100 title and license fee. a $39. 50 inspection fee. which goes directly to the state for title transfers.
