We are selling our 1955 Chevrolet Belair.  I wont ramble on about the car. the pictures say it all and if you have any questions you can get in contact with  me and I will answer any questions you may have. or take more pictures if necessary.
ENGINE:  PART NUMBER #19331579It has a GM 502 crate engine Forged crank. ods and pistons with an air-gap intake. 850 CFM quick fuel carburetor.    It is still under warranty for another year through GM.
Transmission :  CHEVROLET PERFORMANCE #19352208Tremec T-56 Magnum six speed with hydraulic wilwood master cylinder. center-force clutch and Quick time steel bellhousing.                          ratios: 2. 66. 1. 78. 1. 30. 1:1. . 80. . 62.  very easy pedal.
Rear end:Ford 9 inch rear end with Strange center section. 3:50 gears with posi trac and 31 spline axles.
The car runs amazing. does not overheat or leak any fluids.  I still have the stock oil pan and flex plate that came with the engine.  I had to put a notched oil pan on it to clear the steering linkage.  Front disk brakes. rear drums and pocket kit for leaf springs. 3" exhaust from headers to the rear. Has a new wiring harness. uel tank and front windshield. Speedometer and fuel gauge need to be hooked up. Interior needs to be completed. carpet . door panels and headliner.  I have a box of parts that will go with the car that includes the original radio. ome stainless moulding and hood ornaments etc.
Has brand new BF Goodrich tires mounted on steelies with a spare.
I can take this car anywhere in the Albuquerque Metro area for an inspection (at your cost) if desired.  You can make arrangements to have it shipped or just fly in and drive it home.  Car does not have A/C or power steering but it has not been an issue for me.  Car is very quick to say the least and cruises on the interstate with minimal effort.  (105 MPH in 6th gear at 2300 RPM and straight as an arrow. I was just curious!!)
There is a small strip of rust on the edge of the trunk pan towards the rear that is in the pictures.  Other than that it is a solid car from the S. W. desert. Go to you tube 1955 Chevrolet bel air for video. cant upload it here for some reason.  By no means is this a show car. we built it to drive it. its has small rock chips from the roadway and the paint is not perfect.  I do have more black paint. (hot rod flat) that goes with the car so you can jamb it.  Car is sold as-is. though you will not be disappointed.
