Up for sale is a nice 71 Dodge Dart. I picked up the car several years ago when the restoration was halfway done and then I did quite a bit more to it. It's been a fun project but now it's time to move on to something else. Here is everything you need to know:

Power train: The car has a strong 360. an Edlebrock LD4B manifold and a holly 4 barrel carb. I didn't do the engine work. but it's got a cam in it and it sounds great. Headers were also added. This car turns heads wherever she goes. I replaced the radiator and the battery.  Here are some video links so you can hear how the car sounds:

I just replaced the transmission with a freshly rebuilt 727 complete with a shift kit. oiling mods. and a new torque convertor. This transmission is date coded to 68 and was originally a police duty Trans. so it's a heavy duty unit and it shifts great!

The rear end is a stock 8 ¼ with 2. 71 gears (perfect for cruising) with a 4. 5” wheel pattern. The car has stock front disc rear drum (non power assist) brakes.

Body: The body panels are straight and clean with no rust or bondo. I didn't do the body work or the paint job. The paint isn't perfect. but overall looks good. The front windshield is new. The vinyl top is new. The front and rear bumpers were sent out and re-chromed. I also replaced the front and rear shocks. The tires are new and I picked up the rims from Summit. I also replaced the upper and lower control arm bushings. The suspension is tight and responsive.

Interior: The interior was completely redone. The seats have been reupholstered.   The carpet is new. The headliner and package tray are new. The dash was repainted and the dash panels replaced. I put in an original Mopar Tuff steering wheel.   All the gauges. lights and indicators work as they should. I replaced the radio with a new clarion unit and all the speakers (including the dash speaker). Plug in your Ipod and listen to your favorite music as you cruise down the road.
