I seriously dont know how to start describing this car !
This must be the most cherished and loved Mg Midget ever.
First registered in June 1978 a a demonstrator and then purchased from Wadham Stringer of Taunton Devon by its owner who has kept this car for the last 34 years. the sale price was just £2425 all those years ago.
What follows on from 1979 is quite remarkable. Every receipt for every bit of expenditure is filed in date order right up to July 2013 with invoices totalling £35000 YES THATS THIRTY FIVE THOUSAND POUNDS !!! basically there has been an open cheque book for the last thirty four years and anything that has needed doing has been done including no less than three body restorations including the last one in February 2006 with a new Heritage shell £8442. 12 !!
The car can only be described as superb. the interior is virtually new with beige seats and brown carpets which have no wear or marks. the hood is also superb as is the hood cover and full tonneau cover.
I truly believe that this is the best cared for Midget anywhere.
