We took this car in trade from one of our regular customers who bought a brand new Z06.  He had purchased the car from the original owner who suffered through the well-known LS7 valve guide defect and engine failure problem(GM replaced the original engine at the owner's expense with just over 17. 00 mile and we have all the supporting receipts. Our customer then purchased the car with 20. 00 miles and an essentially brand new engine. Wanting to avoid the same problem. nbsp;he had Cunningham Motorsports rebuild the motor into a failure-proof aluminum beast that would still drive as a comfortable street machine in city traffic.
