Here is my VW T25 High top Camper.

Its a 1989 model on an F reg - its one of the last ones.  

I got it from a 92 year old man who had owned it for 12 years and hardly used it.

It is a 1900cc Petrol engine.

4 Speed manual gearbox.

Lovely to drive.

It is an Autohomes Komet conversion.

There is a double bed down low and also a "double" bunk up top in the roof.

There is a 3 Way fridge. 2 ring Burners and Grill. Sink and lots of storage.

Electric hook up for the fridge.

Both front seats swivel round.

The rear seat has a pair of lap belts.

The van has done just 113000 miles and the engine sounds very quiet.

It has big bumpers and square headlights.  

MOT is Until 3rd July 2014 and TAX untill the end of the year.

It has just had is gearbox reconditioned by Cog Box VW specialists in west London. as it was noisy. it is now very quiet.

This summer it has also had new 2 exhaust sections fitted.

I have lots of paperwork. MOTs and invoices  and even a fully stamped service book (Up to 112055 miles in 2011. )

The bodywork is solid but there are rusty bits and dented bits - its good for its age and hasnt been restored. so nothing is hidden. Its 24 years old.

As seen on TV#  -  The last photo shows the camper on the race track at Rockingham raceway earlier this summer - dont worry. we were not racing! We were filming an advert for Allianz insurance - top speed on the track was 20mph - the van is shown on 4 occasions in the advert - but you have to watch closely to see it. very closely!
