1939 Packard Henney Hearse, rear loader Model 1701-A for sale

   This is a 1939 Packard Henney Hearse rear loader Model 1701-A.   It is in very nice condition. nbsp; driven. nbsp; not trailored. nbsp; to many car shows. nbsp; swap meets. nbsp; concours. nbsp; cruises and YES even used in over 15 services since May 1999. nbsp; when I acquired it.   I am not a mortician but I do donate it's use when appropriate.   During the time I have owned this vehicle I have had the 282 cu. in. straight eight engine and 3 speed transmission completely rebuilt.   The maroon interior has been completely redone and is very attractive.   The following is a partial list of noteworthy items:  Dual Fog/Driving lights. nbsp; special accessory 3 bar front bumper with special accessory owner initials holder. nbsp; front fender lights. nbsp; Goddess of speed radiator ornament with etched glass wing. nbsp; dual side mount covers with top mount mirrors. nbsp; running board step plates with Packard emblem. nbsp; dual stock door side mirrors. nbsp; custom coolant recovery system (for pulling long grades without overheating). nbsp; fully detailed engine compartment with chrome acorn head bolt nuts. nbsp; dual 6 volt Optima batteries with series-parallel switch  (starts on 12 volts. runs on 6 volts). nbsp; 6 to 12 volt inverter for cell phone charging. nbsp; original accessory clock in glove compartment door. nbsp; operating custom tachometer. nbsp; partially restored dash. nbsp; dual - master disconnect switches  (helps keep from draining the batteries and also a safety feature). nbsp; special custom built oak roll-out cabinet behind the seats to store fluids. tools. cleaning items. etc. out of sight. nbsp; custom built oak veneer roller table cover with spindle bar edge trim. nbsp; chrome license plate trim. nbsp; Coker 700R16 wide white wall radials mounted on special custom chrome wire spoke wheels with Packard hub caps. nbsp; front window and side door window funeral car plaques. nbsp; very rare drivers side accessory clip on "funeral" banner. nbsp; flag holders on front bumper. nbsp; also included:  1939 shop manual. nbsp; service bulletins manual. nbsp; parts book. nbsp; and also including a nice collection of interesting literature. nbsp; tools. nbsp; parts and fun misc.    This vehicle has always been garaged since I have owned it. nbsp; has a block heater to keep the engine warm and the gaskets fresh during cold weather. nbsp; not driven in foul weather. nbsp; custom Oregon plates (can either leave them on or remove them after sale). nbsp; has a clear title and is ready to roll for a proud new owner!!
