This XJS-C is 30 years old. so if you are looking for a new car this is not for you. If you wish to experience rear wheel drive grand touring from a Classic Jaguar and are prepared to invest in its future - read on.

It is a very rare 1983 model. one of the first Jaguar XJS-C of the production line.

AJ6 3. 6 straight 6 cylinder engine with the Getrag 265 5 speed manual.

Owned by myself since 2007 it has been personally imported in 2012 from the UK where it had just passed the UK registration inspection. All Australian import duties have been paid. It is ready for any state registration.

The air conditioning has been converted to conform to the Australian standards including a new dryer and associated radiator.

The 2+2 conversion and other options make this a genuine colletors car.  Comes with a comprehensive service history - the majority of which were completed by Jaguar dealerships.

The service history shows that the previous owners have maintained the Jaguar through out its current 30 year life.  This commitment to servicing is required for its next 30.

The slave cylinder has been recently replaced along with gear box mounting. At the same time the front springs. nbsp;all oils. filters and battery were replaced.  

Activities recommended would be a possible update to the rear shocks.  engine tune ( slight hesitation ) and some minor welding.  These improvements are estimated to be in the region of $1500.

Overseas buyers - consider roll on roll off from Fremantle docks - can deliver to docks if required. $2000 will get you to Europe. Most European countries have import tax reductions for cars over 30 years old. Please check local conditions.

The leather interior looks and smells good - there are usage marks from the 30 years.

The body work and chrome is in very good condition

The windscreen scuttle is free from rust.

New AJ6 engine fitted by Minster Jaguar - 1998 at 86K miles.

New front springs and Lucas Battery fitted May 2012

The AJ6 engine starts first time.

The rear soft roof and front panels are all in excellent condition. Included are the rare boot targa panel bag and the rear roof soft cover.

The Pirelli P4000 tyres are as new and look great on the Jaguar alloy wheels.
