1969 Chevrolet Camaro for sale

Current customer rating: current rating for this car(2) based on 114 votes

Up for auction is a 1969 Camaro.   Original 350. 4 speed car but motor and transmission had been removed prior to our purchase in 2002.   Very solid body with typical rust in fenders and quarter panels.   Floor boards and trunk appear to be in good condition as well as front sub-frame. Comes with 10-bolt rear axle (gear ratio unknown). The car had been hit in the driver's door and we purchased a donor body for the rocker panel and roof (mainly the upper drip rail area).   The roof sheet metal could easily be repaired instead of replacing the entire roof.   We also purchased a driver's side replacement fender and door off of a 69' Z-28.  The fender appears to have a very small amount of rust in the lower corner and the door may have a small amount in the front lower inside corner as well.   When we purchased the vehicle. the sale included 2 aftermarket quarter panel skins (see photos).   Vehicle comes with a clear title and is sold "as is".   Please contact me with any questions prior to bidding on the car.   I reserve the right to end the auction early as it's for sale locally as well.

Additional information for this listing - I do have additional photos of  the underside of the vehicle and inside the trunk area. but e-bay will only allow 5 photos per message sent back thru e-bay messaging.   The reserve has been met on this vehicle auction and I will not be selling outside of this auction. so there will be no side deals on the sale of the car.   We do not have a key to the trunk. but I was able to unbolt the latch and open it.   The trunk floor does have some corrosion in the lower center portion . but the upper/outer trunk floor and the rear body panel area appear to be solid.   This car has the typical rust in the quarter panels and front fenders.   The rear outer wheel tubs and lower trunk floor extensions will most likely have some corrosion associated with the rust in the outer quarter panels.   The main floor of the car and the rocker panels appear very solid and the rear sub-frame rails look very good.   The left rocker panel has damage from the impact on the driver's door. but the used replacement rocker panel is in very good condition.   The rocker panel damage will require a structural pull before cutting out the damaged rocker and replacing it.   The left rocker dimensions are about 5/16" shorter than the right side. but the center of the door opening from the hinge pillar through the door striker are about the same as the right side.  The front sub frame(engine cradle) is in good condition except for a bend in the front/center from hitting a rock or something in the past.   The interior has been exposed to the elements over the course of time and most of the interior panels will need to be replaced as seen in the photos.   The glass (except broken windshield) is in normal condition for a 48 year old vehicle.   The replacement door has glass. but I don't know the condition.  I will gladly send additional photos to clarify the condition of the vehicle.    Please be aware of the condition of the vehicle before bidding on it as your bid is a binding contract.   If e-bay will allow it. I can e-mail a complete package of 75 photos to interested buyers.
